Johnny Sauter did everything he could on Friday night to win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship but it wasn’t meant to be.

NASCAR announced today the 2012 schedule for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, highlighted by the sport’s return to historic Rockingham Speedway for the first time since 2004 and a number of familiar venues known for the typically intense battles among the tough trucks.
