NASCAR Truck Series

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be in action at Talladega Superspeedway while the NASCAR Xfinity Series is off. The Monster Energy Series heads to the second race of the Round of 12 in the NASCAR Playoffs, while the Camping World Truck Series Playoffs enters the final race of the Round of 8.

After starting the year behind the wheel of the No. 15 Chevrolet Silverado for Premium Motorsports, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) rookie Robby Lyons has joined Reaume Bros. Racing aboard the No. 33 Sunwest Construction Chevrolet in a collaborative effort with Bruce Cook and Chad Finley Racing (CFR) for Saturday’s Fr8Auctions 250 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

Kligerman is the recent and defending winner of this race. In four races, he has two wins in 2012 and 2017, three top five's and three top 10 finishes. Kligerman also has an average start of 12.8 and an average finish of 8.5. He led three laps en route to his second victory and finished tenth in Stage 1. While you could consider him an upset, Kligerman has run up front the past few races.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will be back in action this weekend after a three week hiatus. Bo LeMastus and the No. 54 Toyota Tundra will have a striking new look at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway as DGR-Crosley welcomes Fred's onboard for the Fr8Auctions 250.

NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) winner Ross Chastain will join Niece Motorsports for the second time this season, piloting the No. 38 Niece Equipment Chevrolet Silverado at Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event on Friday, November 2.

GMS Racing announced today that Tyler Dippel has joined the team for the final four races of the 2018 season. Beginning with the October 27th race at Martinsville Speedway, Dippel will drive the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado with leadership from veteran crew chief Jerry Baxter.

Due to unforeseen issues with additional sponsorship needed, Cody Coughlin will no longer drive the No. 2 Chevrolet for GMS Racing. NASCAR today announced that Steve Phelps has been named NASCAR President, effective October 1, 2018. Brent Dewar has elected to step down and will remain with the company through the end of the 2018 racing season, transitioning to a senior consulting and advisory role in 2019.

Petty's Garage and Richard Petty Motorsports announced today it will auction off a Warrior Edition Ford F-150 truck to benefit longtime Petty partner, Paralyzed Veterans of America. World renowned car auction house, Barrett-Jackson, will auction the truck on Thursday, September 27 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After heading to the west coast this weekend for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) World of Westgate 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), Cody Coughlin was ready to duplicate his success from his spring trip to LVMS earlier this season.
