Myatt Snider and TaxSlayer to Join Richard Childress Racing in 2020

Up-and-coming NASCAR star Myatt Snider will join Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020 with support from TaxSlayer, a leading online and professional tax preparation and financial company.

“GMS Racing will not field a NASCAR Xfinity Series entry next season. We have decided that in the best interest of the organization we will put our complete focus on our Gander Trucks and ARCA Racing Series programs in 2020. We can’t thank John Hunter (Nemechek) and everyone that has been involved in our Xfinity effort over the past four years enough for their hard work and dedication to the organization. We wish John Hunter (Nemechek) the best in his future endeavors.”

Tyler Reddick, driver of the No. 2 TAME the BEAST Chevrolet Camaro SS, claimed the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) championship with a victory in the season-finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The title is the second consecutive for Reddick, and fifth in the division for Richard Childress Racing. It also marks Chevrolet’s 21st Driver’s Championship since the inception of the series in 1982.

Daniel Hemric Joining JR Motorsports for Xfinity Series Action in 2020

Daniel Hemric will be returning to the NASCAR Xfinity Series with JR Motorsports in 2020, the team announced today. The 28-year-old Hemric has been tabbed to run 21 races for the organization, and will do so with a familiar number – the No. 8. He’ll join Jeb Burton (11 races) and team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. (one race) to round out the driver lineup for JRM’s No. 8 entry in its pursuit of the NXS owner’s title next season.

Kaulig Racing announced today its expansion to two full-time entries for the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season with Ross Chastain, who will join Justin Haley.
