Richard Boswell Moves to Crew Chief for Chase Briscoe and No. 14 Cup Series Team;
Davin Restivo Replaces Boswell as Crew Chief for Riley Herbst and No. 98 Xfinity Series Team;
John Klausmeier Transitions to SHR’s Vehicle Performance Group

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 20, 2023) – Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) has made select organizational changes to its crew chief lineup that will be in effect beginning with the upcoming Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway race weekend June 24-25.

Richard Boswell, the main steward of SHR’s NASCAR Xfinity Series program since its inception in 2017, is now the crew chief for driver Chase Briscoe and the No. 14 team in the NASCAR Cup Series. Boswell had been the crew chief for SHR’s No. 98 Xfinity Series team and driver Riley Herbst. Boswell won eight Xfinity Series races with Briscoe over a three-year span (2018-2020), including an impressive six-win campaign in 2020, before becoming the crew chief for Herbst in 2021.

John Klausmeier, the former crew chief for the No. 14 team, remains at SHR and has transitioned to the company’s vehicle performance group.

Replacing Boswell as crew chief for the No. 98 Xfinity Series team is Davin Restivo. Since 2022, Restivo has been the lead engineer for the No. 10 team and driver Aric Almirola in the Cup Series. Prior to his time with the No. 10 outfit, Restivo was the lead engineer for driver Cole Custer, first in the Xfinity Series (2019) and then moving up with Custer to the Cup Series (2020-2021). Before joining SHR in 2019, Restivo was an engineer at Chip Ganassi Racing.

“We made these changes in the best interests of the entire organization,” said Greg Zipadelli, chief competition officer, SHR. “Different people in new positions brings new perspectives. There’s still a lot of racing left to do this year, which means there’s still a lot of opportunity. We need to seize these opportunities and make the most of them, and fresh perspectives from the top of the pit box to the preparation inside the shop will help us do that.”

How To Handle Insurance Disputes After a Personal Injury

Injuries resulting from car accidents, slip and fall cases, or medical malpractice can be costly. It not only brings about physical pain but also leads to emotional and financial stress. In the state of Alabama, a traffic collision was reported at an alarming frequency of approximately every 3 minutes and 55 seconds throughout the year 2020. Furthermore, within that same year, there were 853 fatal crashes, resulting in the tragic loss of 932 lives. The city of Florence, for instance, accounted for many of these accidents. When you are injured due to someone’s negligence, you could pursue compensation for expenses such as medical bills, lost wages, or property damage through an insurance claim.

If you happen to live in Florence and have sustained injuries due to someone else’s negligence, you must consider speaking with reputable Florence personal injury lawyers. However, there could be instances where you may reach a deadlock with the insurance company on your claim settlement. In the post below, we will outline some steps on how to handle insurance disputes after personal injuries.

Familiarize Yourself with Your Insurance Policy

It is important that when filing a personal injury claim with your insurer, you familiarize yourself with your policy documents thoroughly before submitting any dispute settlement requests.

Understanding what coverage limits apply to your case could save you time in getting answers regarding possible outcomes of different forms of legal support.

Seek Professional Legal Assistance

Typically, after sustaining an injury due to someone else’s carelessness, a personal injury attorney would be able to represent and litigate against your insurance company.

Insurance companies would always try to minimize their responsibility by offering lowball figures or denying claims altogether; hence representation from experienced lawyers helps in increasing settlement amounts for both compensatory and punitive damages.

Conduct Investigations and Provide Evidence

During an Insurance Settlement dispute, it’s crucial that sufficient evidence is provided that supports your side of the argument during proceedings.

Proofs like Witness Statements, Medical Reports showing costs incurred as a result of injuries sustained are essential elements most lawful court systems consider before assessing if compensation should be awarded under the law. Providing all available data immediately increases the chances of winning case hearings.

Keep Track Of All Insurance Communication Record Keeping

The legal process could take some time. Whenever communicating via telephone call or mail, outline details about every discussion since this provides tangential records demonstrating transparency. If needed during hearings, this acts as proof along litigation timelines.

Avoid Signing Anything Without Seeking Professional Legal Advice

Following an accident, it is customary for insurance companies to reach out to the injured party, presenting them with settlement proposals or seeking information regarding the incident. However, it is crucial to exercise caution when dealing with such correspondence, as some of these documents may contain provisions that release the insurer from any payment obligations. It is highly advisable to seek legal counsel before signing any papers, as overlooking such clauses could significantly impact the amount of compensation sought in a claim.

Take Time to Evaluate all Options Available

During insurance disputes, conversations can often be emotionally taxing and frustrating for all parties involved. However, taking time out to go through your legal options becomes imperative since it provides an opportunity of arriving at a well-informed, rational outcome that makes sense.

Document any Additional Expenditures Incurred

Settlements provided by an insurer may come as single payouts. However, ensuring that additional expenses arising from the injuries, such as medical treatments, should be correctly recorded because they will form part of expected compensation agreements.

Conclusion

When settling personal injury claims, every claim is unique; thus, there are no real guarantees regarding how disputes will ever be resolved between individuals injured due to another party’s negligence.

It is of utmost importance to conduct thorough research on the legal representative you are planning to hire. Additionally, proper documentation of medical records and any other losses suffered by the individuals involved plays a vital role in facilitating the desired reimbursement process following an injury.

Overall, handling insurance disputes after personal injury incidents may be frustrating and time-consuming. However, following the steps outlined above makes the process less burdensome.

Performance fuel injectors can enhance throttle response, fuel efficiency, and overall engine performance.

Upgraded Differential:

The differential is a critical component of a wheeler vehicle’s drivetrain system. Upgrading to an aftermarket differential can provide better torque distribution, traction, and off-road capabilities. Look for options such as limited-slip differentials or locking differentials, which ensure power is evenly distributed to all wheels, maximizing performance in challenging terrain.

Performance Headers:

Performance headers replace the factory exhaust manifolds and are designed to improve exhaust flow from the engine. They feature tuned-length tubes that optimize exhaust gas scavenging, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. Upgrading to performance headers can enhance engine efficiency, throttle response, and overall power delivery.

High-Performance Radiator:

A high-performance radiator is crucial for maintaining optimal engine temperature, especially during intense driving conditions. Upgrading to a larger and more efficient radiator can improve coolant circulation, heat dissipation, and overall cooling capacity. This helps prevent overheating and ensures consistent performance, even in demanding situations.

Performance Camshaft:

The camshaft controls the opening and closing of the engine’s valves, directly influencing performance. Upgrading to a performance camshaft can provide a more aggressive valve lift and duration profile, resulting in improved airflow and power output. A performance camshaft can significantly enhance engine performance across the RPM range, maximizing acceleration and horsepower gains.

Conclusion:

By investing in these must-have wheeler auto parts, you are taking proactive steps towards optimizing your vehicle’s performance, reliability, and safety. These upgrades not only enhance horsepower, torque, and fuel efficiency but also improve handling, braking, and overall driving dynamics.

Whether you are an off-road enthusiast seeking to conquer challenging terrains or a daily commuter looking for a smoother and more efficient ride, these auto parts cater to a wide range of driving needs. They are designed to withstand demanding conditions and provide long-lasting performance.

Jr III Racing Looks to Rebound at Watkins Glen

SRO VIR 2022

Watkins Glen, NY (19 June 2023) – Jr III (“Junior-Three”) Racing will head north this week to Watkins Glen International for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen.

Piloting the No. 30 Airbnb Ligier JS P350 will be full season team regulars Ari Balogh and Garett Grist, the duo will be once again joined by LMP3 ace Dakota Dickerson.

Jr III Racing will be coming off of a three month hiatus from the last IMSA WeatherTech LMP3 race at Sebring International Raceway in March. The team ran into a remarkable and disappointing dose of bad luck with just over an hour left in the race, when a tire from a wrecked LMP2 car came crashing down on Grist, taking the team out of the race.

Earlier this month, Jr III Racing had a couple of test days at Watkins Glen ahead of this weekend’s race. All three drivers were able to knock off the rust and get back to running in tip-top shape.

“I’m very excited to be heading to Watkins Glen this week with the team,” said Dickerson. “We had a very successful test and I think we’re carrying some good momentum. There’s definitely a feeling of unfinished business after our misfortunes at the end of the twelve hour and I can’t wait to put it all out there for six hours of hard racing!”

Last year at Watkins Glen, the team had great pace at Watkins Glen and were looking to be on target for another run to the podium before a pit fire cost the team significant time.

“I’m ready to be back at Watkins Glen,” said Grist. “We were able to test a couple of weeks ago and it went really well. We were able to try some new things and practice what we found worked at Sebring. I believe that we will have a good weekend, especially after seeing how we did at Sebring and we are looking to come back after bad luck hit us last year at Watkins Glen. We as a team could really use the boost from a good weekend.”

The green flag will wave on the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen at 10:40 am ET. The race will be live on USA Network starting at 2:00 pm ET, but you can catch all six hours of racing on the Peacock App starting at 10:30 am ET.

Sean Creech Motorsport back in action at Watkins Glen

14 weeks have passed since the LMP3 class last raced at Sebring in March, with five events of the seven-race schedule remaining from June to October

JUPITER, Fla. (19 June 2023) – According to the calendar, the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is more than halfway done. But for Sean Creech Motorsport (SCM) and the rest of the LMP3 class field, the season only now begins in earnest, with Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen at Watkins Glen International (10:40 a.m., Peacock/USA).

Lance Willsey and João Barbosa will pilot the No. 33 SCM Focal One Ligier JS P320, joined once again by Chilean Nico Pino – who at age 18, became the youngest driver to stand on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (earning a third-place finish with his Duqueine team). Pino will see WGI for the first time this week, but sim work has been as close to real life as possible now that the No. 33 SCM Ligier is on the iRacing program.

“I’ve been training, both physically and on the sim,” said Pino. “I’ve been looking at data, watching on-boards and doing sim racing – especially now that the car is on iRacing! It’s a great reference on how the track lays out and how the car behaves. It’s very cool, I’ve never been able to drive my exact car! It’s great that anyone in the world can race the exact same car I’ve driven.”

The LMP3 class has only run two race weekends in 2023 (Daytona and Sebring), with Sebring the only points paying race – though with 36 hours of racing completed, that’s more than some racing series contest in an entire season. It’s been 14 weeks since the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, nearly as long as the 16 weeks in between the 2022 season finale at Road Atlanta and the 2023 Roar Before the Rolex 24. The WeatherTech series will contest five races between now and Petit Le Mans in October, which will mark the finale for the LMP3 class in the premier IMSA series.

SCM team members have kept busy over the three months, working with teams competing in a myriad of sports car series – including the recent 24 Hours of Le Mans. The crew reunited two weeks ago at Watkins Glen to test the No. 30 VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and the No. 33 WeatherTech series cars, with Willsey and Barbosa sharing the wheel.

“It’s been a very long break!” said Barbosa. “It was nice to be back behind the wheel of the Ligier, it only took a couple of laps to get back into the groove. The crew did a great job at the test – the car is very good and it’s such a fun track to drive. It was uncharacteristically cold and cloudy at the test, and with the Canadian wildfire smoke, it made for very strange conditions. But we have plenty of options for this weekend. We didn’t do as many laps as we would have liked, with the third day ended early, but I feel as though we’re ready.”

The crew worked through several challenges at the test, including unseasonably cold temperatures and significant smoke from the Canadian wildfires. Fighting through the air quality issues, the team worked through a checklist of setup options – both for the cool conditions at the test, and for the far more likely warmer temperatures that would greet them later in the month.

“It was a good chance for everyone to get back in the swing of things,” said team principal Sean Creech. “For the crew, it was a chance to make sure everything was hooked up, refamiliarize themselves with setting up and tearing down, working on the car, making changes. Same for Lance and Joao – they haven’t been in the car since March, so it was good to have almost three days to bang the rust off.

“We have plenty of data coming out of the test,” continued Creech. “Like Joao said – we can race this car. We’ll tweak it in practice on the race weekend, especially since it was significantly colder at the test than it will be this week. But the car has good pace as it is now.”

SCM thanks team partner Focal One for its continued support.

The Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen takes the green flag Sunday at 10:40 a.m. Eastern. The race will be broadcast live in the U.S. on Peacock TV and the USA Network. International viewers can watch via IMSA.tv, with IMSA Radio also available at IMSA.com.
