Chandler Smith Returning to Safelite AutoGlass® Tundra in 2022

Danny Stockman to lead efforts of No. 18 team again next season

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Nov. 30, 2021) – Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced today that Chandler Smith will return to drive the organization’s No. 18 Tundra in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series full-time in 2022. Safelite AutoGlass, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair, replacement and recalibration services, returns to KBM for a fifth season and will be the primary sponsor on Smith’s Tundra for 15 races. Veteran crew chief Danny Stockman will once again be atop the pit box for the No. 18 team in 2022.

Smith earned NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rookie of the Year honors in 2021 and finished eighth in the championship standings after producing two victories, one pole, 213 laps led, six top-five and nine top-10 finishes in his first full-time season. He earned his first career Truck Series victory at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in September and in the series finale at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway earned his first career pole and swept all three stages en route to his second victory.

Across 38 career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts, the 19-year-old driver has collected two wins, 14 top-five and 18 top-10 finishes. Additionally, Smith has produced nine ARCA Menards Series victories, 10 poles, 22 top-five and 29 top-10 finishes across 34 career starts.

“I’m really excited to be back partnered with Safelite and KBM for a second full-time season and ready for another run at a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship,” Smith said. “Danny (Stockman, crew chief) and I built something over the course of the year and really hit our stride late in the season. We’re looking forward to carrying that momentum over to starting 2022 strong. I feel that having some form of practice and qualifying at all the races next season will be big for our No. 18 Safelite team.”

“Chandler finished the 2021 season strong by winning twice over the last five races and we’re confident that he and Danny (Stockman, crew chief) will be able to pick up right where they left off next year,” Busch said. “It was awesome for us to be able to get Safelite into victory lane and celebrate with them multiple times in 2021 as they really support their racing program. I know that everyone on the No. 18 Safelite team is working hard to ensure we continue winning and push to be one of the four teams competing for a championship at Phoenix.”

“Safelite is excited to have Chandler Smith back in the No. 18 Toyota Tundra for the 2022 Season,” said Safelite AutoGlass Senior Vice President Garth Beck. “We are proud of his accomplishments in 2021, with his two-win season and earning the Rookie of the Year award, and we are looking forward to 2022 and all that he will accomplish.”

Stockman’s drivers have produced six victories at KBM across his first two seasons, including two with Smith behind the wheel in 2021. The veteran crew chief captured a Truck Series championship with Austin Dillon in 2011 and also won an Xfinity Series championship with Dillon in 2013. Stockman has totaled 10 career Truck Series victories to go along with seven in the Xfinity Series.

Further sponsor announcements for the 2022 season are forthcoming.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (November 30, 2021) – In 2022, Front Row Motorsports (FRM) will again have a mix of veteran leadership and young, winning drivers stepping into new roles.

Michael McDowell will pilot the No. 34 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Cup Series. He will be teammates with Todd Gilliland who takes over the No. 38 Ford Mustang. Two-time NASCAR Camping World Series championship runner-up Zane Smith joins FRM to race the No. 38 Ford F-150 in the truck series.

Gilliland makes the jump to the NASCAR Cup Series to compete for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title after three full-time seasons in the truck series, the past two with FRM. In 2021, Gilliland had one win, 16 top-10 and 10 top-five finishes, resulting in a career best year. He led FRM to fourth in the owner’s championship. Gilliland will work with crew chief Seth Barbour.

Gilliland follows his father, David, as a driver of the No. 38 Ford for FRM in the NASCAR Cup Series.

“I feel like I’ve found a home at FRM,” said Gilliland. “I’ve been around the team when I was growing up and watching my dad race. I joined the truck team here and it has been a good place for my career. I can’t wait to step up into the NASCAR Cup Series. I know the challenges ahead, but I’m planning to be here and help grow with this team for a long time.”

“Todd has been a part of the FRM family before he even started his own racing career,” added owner, Bob Jenkins. “We know that Todd is committed to helping our No. 38 program. He helped us launch our truck program into a winning team and that’s our goal for him and the 38 Cup team.”

McDowell returns to the No. 34 Ford Mustang with crew chief Drew Blickensderfer. It will be their fifth year together and their partnership continues to lead FRM. This past season they again set new records for the organization with five top-10 and two top-five finishes. Their season was highlighted by winning the Daytona 500.

“It was a storybook season for Michael, Drew and the 34 team,” continued Jenkins. “They helped elevate us to the next level and now we need to sustain and take the next step. The new car gives us a wonderful opportunity to do that.”

“I’m really looking forward to 2022 and the fresh start it brings across the sport,” said McDowell. “It’s an exciting time for the NASCAR Cup Series and for us at FRM. We have proven that we can win and now we want to find that consistency throughout the season to be even better.”

FRM welcomes Smith to its NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team, fresh off consecutive seasons as championship runner-up in the series Smith recorded three race wins and 27 top-10 finishes in his two full seasons in the series. The 22-year-old Huntington Beach, Calif. native will work with crew chief Chris Lawson with the goal of winning the championship in 2022.

“I’ve been watching Zane the past few seasons,” said Jenkins. “He’s a young driver who is a proven winner and he shows a lot of promise. We want to get him that championship in 2022, but also, we want to have Zane with us for a long time. We see a bright future for him.”

“I competed against Front Row for wins this past season and I know how competitive the team is,” said Smith, the 2021 Most Popular Driver in the NASCAR Camping World Series. “Bob Jenkins has given me a wonderful opportunity to race for the truck series championship again. More importantly, there is an opportunity to grow with them in the future.”

The 2021 season will mark its 13th with Ford Performance, the team’s manufacturing partner since expanding to a multi-car organization in 2010.

FRM will announce team partners leading into the 2022 Daytona 500 and throughout next season.

All Veteran Racing Team “Warfighter Made” on a Mission to Win at The Mint 400

EL SEGUNDO, CA (November 30, 2021) –When the Mint 400 “The Great American Off-Road Race” begins on Friday, December 3 , many of the vehicles will be equipped with the FluidLogic™ hydration system to keep the drivers hydrated throughout the grueling race, but only one will be powered by a team of 10 battle-tested veterans and two riders– including one double amputees, two single amputees, one paraplegic and a quadriplegic female veteran

The vehicle they will be racing in the Mint 400 is a M998 Humvee also known as a high-mobility multi-wheeled vehicle, modified for racing by Warfighter Made and affectionately known as “Beefy”.

Robert Blanton is a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran with 21 years of service.

He is a Silver Star recipient and founder and CEO of the nonprofit organization Warfighter Made. Blanton founded the organization in 2012with the mission of helping wounded veterans with their unique transportation needs.

“We have focused our mission around cars because transportation is a key to freedom and independence, which are key elements for a combat wounded veteran,” said Blanton. “Our primary activity is to adapt and customize vehicles for wounded veterans, so they can continue doing the things they enjoy, while their vehicle reflects their individual personality.”

The Warfighter organization helps veterans with a sense of belonging, comradery and purpose. As one of the ways of helping veterans belong, they provide what Blanton refers to as Adrenaline Therapy.

“We have three vehicles that we use in off-road racing events- The Mexican 1000, the Mint 400 and the NORRA 500,” said Blanton. “In these race events we include combat wounded veterans on our race team and allow them to drive a segment of the race. In the upcoming Mint 400, our team of 10 drivers and two riders (all veterans) will include several single and double amputees”.

The Warfighter Made team has finished every race that they have participated in and won their class in this year’s Mexican 1000. On board their vehicle, the FluidLogic™ hydration system keeps the drivers hydrated throughout the grueling heat of a 1000-mile race.

“Staying properly hydrated is the key to remaining focused on a long race,” said Blanton. “The FluidLogic system makes it effortless. It’s one less distraction, one less thing you must think about. Just open your mouth and push the button.”

The Warfighter Made team will once again be delegating their hydration needs to FluidLogic so they can stay focused and hydrated as they race “Beefy” to a win in the Mint 400!

Crypto Trading Strategies

Photo by Art Rachen on Unsplash

Despite that cryptocurrency is new and full of promising opportunities, it has its risks and pitfalls as well for those who are rushing to invest in it. Since the pandemic hit the world in 2019, thousands of new cryptocurrencies have emerged on exchanges and trading platforms, each crypto has its own volatility and feature.

However, if you like to invest in cryptos, you shall consider applying strategies and tactics like the strategy of mathematical calculations in blackjack that is used by casino players. Moreover, to learn recent strategies, join platforms with the help of coupons like celsius promo code to help you save and get updated with news.

There are many strategies to use when trading with cryptocurrencies, but what are the best strategies to use?

Best strategies to use when trading in cryptocurrencies

Scalping

This strategy refers to trading in high volumes in order to gain profits from the small changes of a certain currency. This strategy requires a lot of concentration from the trader, because one big loss may eliminate all the previous gains that you have made during the day. To master this technique, you have to analyze the crypto assets, the previous trends, and volumes, then determine an entry and exit point within a trading day.

Day trading

Day trading It’s the process of buying and selling cryptos within a single trading day, the purpose of this process is to make small profits amid the small changes of a certain cryptocurrency. This strategy requires the trader to study technical indicators to know the points in which he shall buy or sell a certain cryptocurrency, also it requires the trader to purchase and sell as much as he can, so he can achieve his daily profits.

Range trading

It’s the difference between the high and low prices of a certain cryptocurrency during a specified trading period. Traders rely on experienced analysts, who study the market and provide support and resistance levels, those levels are provided daily and help the traders to know when to buy and when to sell. The Resistance level is a point above the current price, and it’s supposed that the price won’t go higher than this level, while support is a level below which the crypto price is not supposed to fall under.

High-Frequency Trading

This strategy requires strong knowledge of mathematics and computer science; it’s limited to those experienced traders who know how to use it. It involves computer programs that are specially designed to place multiple orders in milliseconds. The key factor to succeed in this strategy is the program’s ability to process huge volumes of information.

Dollar-Cost Averaging

If you are searching for the best period of time to enter and exit the crypto market, you have to stop and change your strategy, because you are looking for something that does not exist, but still, you can use the Dollar-Cost Averaging strategy, which aims to invest a fixed amount of money in a regular interval for a long period of time. It’s believed that this strategy is most effective when the markets are on a downward trend, while in a rising mode or when the trend is bullish, it’s recommended to avoid this strategy.

Build a balanced portfolio

It’s essential to build a balanced portfolio that includes a variety of cryptocurrencies. If you buy ETH in Australia along with other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and litecoin, this portfolio will help you overcome the volatility over time. It will also help traders to maintain investments in different cryptos, which will increase their gains in the long term.

Don’t make trading decisions based on hype

Many Beginners fall for the same mistake, which is to rely on social media for news on cryptocurrencies. Since digital currency is an important topic, false information may spread fast, hence may affect your decision if you are using social media as a source for news. Remember social media is full of fake pages and resources, so when you want to make an investment decision, this decision shall never be based on the hype created by someone on social media.

Do some research

Trading cryptos is similar to trading commodities and securities, thus it’s advisable to do some primary research on the value of the asset you want to buy. This research involves following the news of the asset you want to buy and knowing all the aspects that may affect its price.

Bet on Bitcoin Volatility

Bitcoin is one of the most volatile cryptos nowadays. You can bet on the volatility of the bitcoin by trading in the bitcoin futures, this can be made by buying a call and put option at the same time. When the prices fall or rise vigorously, you must sell the call and the put option at the same time.

Arbitrage

This strategy is about buying cryptos in one market and selling it in another market. To be able to do so, you must have accounts in different exchanges. Those exchanges must have huge differences between the prices of the cryptos that you are trading with.

How Atlanta Motor Speedway’s new asphalt is made

HAMPTON, Ga. (Nov. 29, 2021) – Paving on Atlanta Motor Speedway’s new 28-degree banking is an impressive operation, but the process to give AMS its new asphalt doesn’t start at the track.

About 20 miles away at ER Snell’s asphalt plant in Stockbridge, Ga., years of prep and tons of material all come together to create Atlanta Motor Speedway’s asphalt mix.

Asphalt is created primarily using two products: a mix of hard materials like stones and gravel called the aggregate, and liquid asphalt.

“The liquid asphalt is a petroleum based product. It’s actually the glue that holds everything together in the asphalt mixture,” said Robbie Robinson, senior technical services manager for Associated Asphalt. While the stone aggregate for the AMS project comes to ER Snell from a nearby quarry, the liquid asphalt is hauled in from Associated Asphalt’s facility in Savannah, Ga. Robinson says that liquid is one of the key components that makes the speedway’s new asphalt unique.

“With the NASCAR cars you have the tires that create a lot of friction on the wearing surface. This product is a little stiffer; it’s going to be little more durable than your typical highway asphalt,” explained Robinson. “There’s a lot behind the scenes research and development that goes into making this product.”

The liquid asphalt isn’t the only part of Atlanta Motor Speedway’s mix that deviates from the norm. The composition of the stone aggregate that it binds with has also been optimized for racing.

“Six years ago we put up some designs for the project, then some of (the speedway’s) engineers came in and pointed out that they wanted a bit of a coarser mix,” said ER Snell Senior Vice President Nick Murphy. “A lot of that stemmed from the desires of the tire manufacturers and there was a lot of talk about the wear on the tires and what they’d expect at race time.

“Those are some things that we don’t encounter on a day-to-day basis so it kind of threw us a curveball, but we were able to make those adjustments and provide those properties that you were looking for.”

With the recipe for the racing surface nailed down, perhaps the biggest challenge to actually creating and paving the new asphalt comes down to logistics. Throughout the paving process, much effort has been spent making sure all the materials and manpower needed to complete the project are working in unison.

“Our business is very labor-intensive,” said Murphy. “We rely on a lot of different components, whether it be the liquid supplier, the liquid hauling, the truckers that are getting the material here to the yard, the plant personnel, the truckers getting the material back to the track and the paving operation itself. Everything has to move smoothly and if one breaks, then the whole system shuts down. So we definitely rely on a lot of people to make it all happen and make it a success.”

As paving at Atlanta Motor Speedway nears completion, it’s clear the sum of all that effort and coordination is a racing surface that will thrill fans for decades to come.

“We’ve got a good group of people behind this project. We’ve got people that take their jobs very seriously,” said AMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Brandon Hutchison following a tour of ER Snell’s plant. “Atlanta Motor Speedway and our fans are what is most important to me so to be able to come out here, get to take a look behind the scenes at what is being produced that’ll provide entertainment for years to come is exciting for me. This asphalt will be our track for over 20 years – hopefully 30 years with the technology that we have today.”

The all-new Atlanta Motor Speedway makes its NASCAR debut in 2022. Tickets for both race weekends are available now at AtlantaMotorSpeedway.com.

How Can Upswell Marketing Help You With Your Automotive Print Advertising?

Photo by Artur Aldyrkhanov on Unsplash

Automotive repair shops face some unique challenges when it comes to attracting new customers. For one thing, auto shops rely exclusively on local drivers for their business. During the pandemic, many retail stores moved the bulk of their operations online, but that wasn’t an option for repair shops.

The good news is that, no matter what else is going on in the world, drivers will still need to have tires replaced, brakes changed, and cars repaired. Auto shop owners just need to figure out how to let all those potential customers know they’re open for business. Read on to find out how Upswell can help.

An Advertising Agency With Specialized Expertise

Some marketing firms provide only generalized services, working with clients in dozens of industries across multiple states. Upswell Marketing is different. This advertising agency provides specialized services to local businesses with a focus on auto shops.

Working with an agency that has specialized expertise comes with some unexpected benefits. For one, these professionals have already worked with similar clients in other cities or states, which means they know what works and what doesn’t. Plus, the specialized automotive advertisers at Upswell are experts in leveraging data and analytics to create, track, and improve print marketing campaigns just like they would digital advertising.

Direct Mail Marketing

Most auto shops draw the majority of their customers from the immediate area. Even the best shops rarely see repeat business from drivers who live in different cities or even different neighborhoods. The highly localized nature of auto shop customer bases makes targeted direct mail marketing campaigns a perfect fit.

Upswell starts every direct mail marketing campaign by performing a comprehensive assessment of the shop’s past marketing efforts, target audiences, and branding efforts. From there, the design team will work with the shop owner to determine the right format for the mailers and come up with a compelling message that includes both text and images. Options include:

  • Postcards

What are the uses of auto transport

Auto transport is a service that provides a vital service for a lot of people throughout the US. There are companies like USTrans.com that specialize in open and enclosed transport to all different US states, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, companies that are dedicated to providing the best transport service, with minimal delays, total safety for your vehicle, and overall fair prices.

Here’s what auto transport does for you

In order for vehicle transport services, it must first be within the confines of a US state, and it must be accessible by road. Even if the vehicle is not rolling due to a flat tire or a mechanical problem, if a semi-truck, and get to it, it can be picked up.

Prices, on the other hand, fluctuate greatly, which depends on the market of your intended destination, the season, the type of vehicle, the deadline, as well as the condition of the vehicle. There are also different circumstances under which such a service is booked, and to a great extent, these factors will also determine the price of said transport job.

It saves you time and effort

One of the ways for a vehicle to move from one location to another is if someone drives it there. However, this requires time and quite a lot of effort, especially if it’s a great distance and if there’s a lot to be done before, especially if the vehicle itself is not in good condition.

If you need a vehicle moved across the country, then you probably don’t want to drive it there because it would take several days of near-constant driving, a lot of gas money, and you will be risking your life. Despite the good infrastructure of the country, a lot of roads see quite a large number of car accidents, and taking on a job like that and driving a vehicle on your can be quite hazardous. So beforehand, spending time researching how can I ship a car to its destination will save you a lot of time and stress.

It reduces the wear on a vehicle

Moving a vehicle with a company will also reduce the amount of wear on the vehicle itself. Since the car will sit on a platform and will not be moving on its own, with no tire, engine, or transmission wear accumulating.

Even though cars were created to be driven, there are circumstances under which not accumulating more wear and tear on a vehicle is the best choice. Such circumstances are show or sport vehicles, which are high-performance machines that need to be in top shape for a specific event.

It’s safer for the roads

Fewer cars on the road mean a reduced chance of road accidents. If you are not personally taking part in the road network, but are having a company like USTrans.com handle your auto transport, then you will be a lot safer and the roads will be safer as well.

Quicker than doing it yourself

A professional service like that is also a lot safer for you and for anyone involved than to actually do it yourself. It’s also quite a lot cheaper, quicker, safer for the vehicle itself with a reduced overall cost and general inconvenience.

A Guide To Repelling Rodents From Your Car

Rodents such as mice are dirty, disease-ridden creatures that can destroy the interior and wiring, or electrical components of your vehicle. If you don’t combat the problem as soon as possible, it will most likely worsen with time and that is why you need an effective rat repellent. A mice infestation is not just limited to your house, they can also infest cars as well. This is why we’ve put together this guide of effective rodent repellent for car engines.

Rodents can squeeze through the vehicle vents and enter the vehicle and cause damage. They can also die inside the vehicle and leave a very bad smell. They can chew on the wiring, padding or heat shields, and other various circuits under the hood leading to numerous problems. If you do nothing to combat the infestation, it will soon spread throughout the vehicle. It’s important to understand that the issue will not just go away on its own. You run the danger of having future vehicle performance difficulties.

What steps can You take to keep mice or other rodents out of your vehicle?

A mouse in your automobile is no joke. This article goes over the fundamentals of preventing an infestation or steps to remove mice and other rodents from your vehicle, including how to prevent mice from entering your car’s engine and other small entrances.

Mice are small mammals that can get into any car, no matter how well you think it is protected. Mice are able to squeeze through openings less than a dime in diameter, making it quite convenient for them to enter your vehicle.

They do this by using the following entry points:

  • Small openings like the vehicle vents.
  • Cables usually have larger holes in the mainframe, which allows the wires to flow freely throughout the car, connecting different parts.
  • Around the pedal shafts.
  • The steering column opening.

Rodents like mice dislike anything that is large, bright, moving, or attracts their attention. Keeping a car off-limits and unattractive to mice is critical. We do not condone harming or injuring rodents, which is why we love natural rodent repellent products, some are much more effective than others so make sure to buy from a reputable brand.

What time of year are the rodents most active?

Rodents are busy all year, and their activities vary with season. Rodents are always on the move during summer seeking food, water, and shelter. They spend winters within their nests and tend to be more active in the warmer months. Mice are nocturnal creatures that are primarily active between 5:30 pm to 6:30 am, so only a few humans or animals notice as they are prey animals.

Rodents such as mice are naturally drawn to the shelter that a vehicle will provide during the cold winter, resulting in your vehicle being a perfect place for nesting. Thankfully, mice can be deterred with just a little effort with rodent repellents that will keep them away and out, so your vehicle remains safe from damage.

Frequent use of cars has proven to prevent rodents from approaching your vehicles. By not letting your vehicle sit for long periods of time can discourage and prevent rodents from entering it and doing damage.

Steps to repel rodents from your vehicle:

  1. Rodents are searching for a suitable nesting location that is dark. Leaving the hood up could help prevent nesting, it may not repel all rats, but it’ll do so for most of them.
  2. Secure your pet food. Rodents prefer dog food over pet foods. Rodents will store many bits of it in your vehicles vents and other vacant areas, which they have deemed to be their shelter.
  3. Place traps and other rodent-repelling measures in areas where rodents are known to congregate around the vehicle. You can also trim any nearby thick bushes where rodents might like to live or hide.
  4. Rodents are able to get into the engine through large or even very small openings. They climb up wheels to access the engine, so some vehicle owners set traps near the car or on the wheels and entrances. To prevent engine ports from being blocked, use a wire screen.
  5. Rodents can hear sounds of low frequency that we humans can’t. Some rodents will be repelled by these loud noises while others will not be. Although, you may need something more permanent than sound waves and the use of ultrasound is advised.
  6. Rodents will avoid vents and small openings of your vehicle if they smell foul, at least to some degree. Peppermint oil, hair of their natural predator, and laundry dryer sheets have all worked.

Some signs that rodents are in your vehicle:

Below are some of the most common indicators that your vehicle is infested:

1) Smell: There could be an unpleasant odor that you may not always be able to identify.

2) Noise: Rodents will make scratching or chewing noises while they are starting to expose what’s underneath but gnawing on a wire or the coverings.

3) Marks: You could notice chew marks or bite blemishes on areas such as but not limited to the floor mats, padding, or safety belts.

4) A Faulty Display: The vehicle wiring could have been compromised by rodents chewing on it, causing electrical issues or faulty displays.

Conclusion

In the event that you notice any of these signs, the time has come to call an expert. Rodents can be harmful and detrimental to your vehicle’s engine. If you already have rodents in your car, make sure you get rid of all of them from within the engine compartment, so they cannot cause any more damage. Make sure that the pest control company has experience with rodents in cars because they may have special techniques for removing them without harming the car or causing more damage than necessary.
