A Quick Overview of the Rise of Timur Turlov and Freedom Holding

Photo by Austin Distel on Unsplash

Typically, you don’t read about non-Western success stories, but Timur Turlov is an exception. Turlov is an entrepreneur who founded Freedom Finance in 2008, a company that no one could have predicted would grow into a massive conglomerate. Today, Freedom Finance is known as Freedom Holding Corp, a gigantic multi-billion-dollar powerhouse that specializes in brokerage, banking, insurance, and more. From modest beginnings to one of the world’s most influential business leaders, continue reading to learn about Turlov’s growth and journey to financial success.

Early Life

Timur Turlov was born in 1987 and showed a promising interest in finance. Turlov started working in investment firms in his teenage years, acquiring a ton of experience. By applying this learned experience, he saw an opportunity to grow into a global market of investors willing to invest in the post-Soviet region. This opportunity manifested in the form of Freedom Finance.

Expansion

After only a few years, Freedom Finance spread beyond Russia, creating a significant presence in Kazakhstan. This expansion into Kazakhstan would quickly become one of the country’s leading brokerages, enabling further expansion into other regions worldwide. Following Kazakhstan, Freedom Finance expanded into Europe, which enabled access to the United States and other global stock markets.

During this time of expansion, a merger occurred in 2015 with BMB Munai, which subsequently formed the company we now know as Freedom Holding Corporation.

NASDAQ & Beyond

Four years after the merger, the company became known as Freedom Holding Corp In October 2019, the company was listed on NASDAQ under the ticker FRHC. This listing allowed Freedom Holding to gain immense credibility worldwide and access to international capital.

Since Freedom Holding’s listing on NASDAQ, the company has seen extremely rapid growth with billions invested from retail investors across the world.

Freedom Holding’s Offerings

Turlov’s goal was realized through Freedom Holding. Under his expert leadership, the company has achieved the following:

  • Brokerage & Trading: Created platforms with access to the United States and International Markets.
  • Banking & Insurance: Subsidiaries named Freedom Bank and Freedom Life.
  • Consumer Servicing: Travel Booking, Grocery Delivery, and Ticketing.
  • Telecommunications: Creation of datacenters and subsidiaries like Freedom Telecom.

Turmoil and Challenge

All success stories are full of challenges, which Turlov and Freedom Holding aren’t strangers to. From criticism from retail investors, regulations from the United States, and the difficulty of curating a worldwide market, Freedom Holding managed to break all the roadblocks. Turlov himself even renounced his natural-born Russian citizenship to reduce criticism and shift focus on the company’s footprint in Central Asian markets.

Despite all the trouble, Freedom Holding continues to grow and expand even today at a rapid rate.

What’s Next?

While Timur Turlov’s journey from a small-time investment firm worker to the head of a multinational company is nothing short of remarkable, the company must continue to grow. Currently, Freedom Holding is doubling down on the creation of telecom, infrastructure, and consumer services. The company is, without a doubt, looking to cement itself as both a financial bastion and providing consumer enrichment. While the future of the company isn’t set in stone, it’s something to keep an eye on for future investments and more.

Understanding Deposit Casino Bonuses and know How bonuses work and what to expect

Smart play starts with clear rules for money rewards on gaming sites. Many newcomers see shiny offers and then rush in without reading the fine print. A calmer method helps you judge value without risk growing out of control.

This guide explains simple checks for match amounts, rollover rules, payout speed, plus limits. You also learn ways to track spending goals and set cool-off breaks. Keep copies of confirmation statements, terms, plus chat logs. Use a fixed budget, then pause when pressure rises. Seek help tools if control feels hard. Step-by-step choices bring steadier results for many players.

Bonus Basics

• Match offers boost starting bankroll, though real value depends on stated rate
• Rollover multiplies stake requirements before withdrawal, so plan pacing with patience.
• Some deals include free spins tokens governed by separate simple rules.
• Eligible games may differ, so check the lists for included options before play.
• Maximum cashout caps can limit large wins, so measure upside realistically.
• Minimum top-up thresholds unlock benefits, so fund accordingly, then record confirmations..
Payment method choice might change eligibility, so review accepted channels carefully.
• Time limits apply to activation or wagering, so schedule sessions accordingly.
• Some promotions stack together while others exclude combining, so check acceptance rules.
• High match rates seem attractive, yet tougher requirements often follow, so evaluate carefully.
• Consider opportunity cost since funds stay locked until conditions are met.
• Watch for region restrictions that silently block claims for certain profiles.

Clear Terms

• Read full policy pages before claiming, since each site sets distinct rules
• Confirm wagering contribution rates because some categories count lower than others
• Check prohibited play patterns, which can void rewards without refund or appeal
• Note identification checks timing so documents stay ready during review stages
• Keep screenshots of promotional pages to prove rates or dates if challenged
• Ask support to explain unclear lines using examples until understanding feels solid
• Record start dates, expiry windows, then set reminders for milestones across weeks
• Store emails, receipts statements together to simplify audits or reconcile balances later
• Confirm bonus code entry sequence during checkout to avoid missed eligibility
• Verify cash-out method options since some channels exclude promotional funds
• Read updates after rule changes since policies can shift without notice

Play Smart

• Set a fixed budget, then split sessions to reduce pressure during swings
• Use small stakes early until rules feel clear and rhythm settles
Track wagers results fees using a simple sheet or trusted notebook
• Take short breaks after losses to reset goals and protect judgment
• Choose lower variance formats when meeting rollover to smooth progress gently
• Stop once the daily limit hits, then review notes before the next session
• Set reality checks using pop-up alerts to remind targets during play
• Prefer moderate session length, which protects energy while maintaining steady concentration
• Use withdrawal scheduling to bank profits, then continue later with restraint
• Share personal limits with trusted friends who support healthy choices during play
• Create session summaries, noting lessons learned, which guide future selections
• Use monthly reviews to evaluate outcomes, then adjust staking size thoughtfully

Plan Protect Progress

Build steady habits for offering use with careful reading before any click. Keep tidy records of every step so future checks move forward smoothly. Spread play across shorter sessions to keep focus while meeting needed targets. Pause when stress rises, then return later with a clear head. Prefer transparent sites with helpful support plus simple terms shown plainly. Use tools that track spending goal,s then review weekly results thoughtfully. With structured patience, your outcomes improve over time without harsh surprises.

Stay fair-minded during every choice made.

S.I. Yachts and Casey Mears Announce Three-Race Partnership

Acrisure continues as a major associate sponsor

TATESVILLE, N.C. (September 18, 2025) – As Casey Mears inches closer to 500 NASCAR Cup Series starts, the Germain family and S.I. Yachts will continue to support his efforts, announcing they will serve as his primary sponsor at the final three races of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. First displayed at Daytona in August, the S.I. Yachts livery will appear on Garage 66’s Ford Mustang Dark Horse at Talladega Superspeedway on October 19, Martinsville Speedway on October 26, and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway on November 2.

Global fintech insurance leader Acrisure will continue as a major associate sponsor. The Acrisure branding will be prominently featured on Mears’ No. 66 S.I. Yachts Ford Mustang.

Owned by Germain Motor Company, S.I. Yachts is one of the world’s oldest and largest dealers for Viking Yachts and Valhalla Boatworks. It is dedicated to helping Mears achieve a feat only 47 other drivers in NASCAR history have accomplished: making 500 NASCAR Cup Series starts. The Bakersfield, CA, native is currently just nine starts shy of the milestone.

Mears’ former boss at Germain Racing is excited to share these special moments with his driver. From 2010 to 2016, Bob Germain and Casey Mears strolled the starting grid together, with the latter piloting the No. 13 Germain Racing NASCAR Cup Series entry. These days, Germain is excited to partner with and support his close friend as he pursues this prestigious achievement.

“We achieved significant success in NASCAR with two Truck Series Championships, and Casey played a key role in the development of our Cup Series program,” Germain said. “I’m proud that the years he spent driving our No. 13 car accounted for many of his Cup starts, and I’m happy we’re partnering in his pursuit of hitting 500. Casey and I have remained close over the years, and he was always one of our biggest supporters. He’s a great guy, and he’s always been genuine in how he lives his life, which is what I appreciate most.”

Acrisure’s auto-finance & insurance division offers vehicle protection programs, dealership insurance, and KARR security systems to approximately 3,000+ automotive dealership partners nationwide.

Vernon Leake, CEO of Acrisure Protection Group, said, “We look forward to supporting Casey’s success in these competitive races as he demonstrates our shared values and standards towards excellence and high performance.”

Mears remains appreciative of his former boss’s support and is excited that Acrisure is continuing its partnership.

“I’m excited we were able to put these three races together, and I appreciate the ongoing support from Bob Germain, S.I. Yachts, and Acrisure,” Mears said. “Given our close friendship, it’s touching that Bob is willing to invest in me after all these years; it shows his character and who he is as a person. It also means a lot that Acrisure continues to support us; they stepped up first this year at Martinsville and helped get this program started. Thanks to Carl Long and Garage 66 for all of their hard work because they’ve worked hard to ramp up and make it happen.”

Garage 66 team owner, Carl Long, a fixture in the sport for nearly three decades, is excited to continue fielding a car for Mears.

“This has been a great opportunity for Garage 66, and it’s been an honor to have Casey in our car and to work with S.I. Yachts and Acrisure,” Long said. “Casey is a top-tier driver who brings attention to detail and focus to everything he does, from the preparation of the pit equipment to the way the interior is adjusted. We appreciate S.I. Yachts and Acrisure’s trust in our team, and we’re committed to finishing the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season strong.”

DALLAS GLENN SEEKS SECOND PRO STOCK WIN AT CHARLOTTE IN 2025 AT NHRA 4-WIDE CAROLINA NATIONALS

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 18, 2025) – For the first time, the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship playoffs will feature a four-wide race at this weekend’s NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals, and current Pro Stock points leader Dallas Glenn is looking to stay red-hot at zMAX Dragway.

Glenn, driver of the RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro, resides in Mooresville, N.C. and won both the fall race a year ago and the spring four-wide race this season. With his impressive success at four-wide races and five wins on the season, Glenn is eager for this weekend’s NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals.

“There’s a few things with the four-wide races that are the biggest difference for the driver,” Glenn said. “The whole staging procedure gets pretty chaotic and you’re throwing two extra lanes. Normally, it’s like, ‘Hey, are we going to the left, are we going to the right?’ Well, now it’s like, ‘Hey, are we taking one through four?’

“There’s chaos before the run, but when you get to the staging lanes, instead of being fifth or sixth or seventh or eighth pair, now at the most, you’re going to be fourth. So, you need to make sure you get into the car quicker. Everything moves a little quicker while you’re up there.”

Last year’s NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals saw Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Austin Prock (Funny Car), Glenn (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) each claiming wins. This season’s race will again be broadcast on FS1, including live coverage of eliminations beginning at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21.

It is also the second of six races in the Countdown to the Championship. Glenn secured NHRA’s first regular-season championship at the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.

After coming up just short of the 2024 world title to teammate Greg Anderson, Glenn knows the importance of running well to open six-race Countdown to the Championship playoffs. Coming off a win in Reading, he has confidence on his side, currently holding a 62-point lead over Anderson and a 121-point advantage over Matt Hartford.

“The main thing is as long as I’m prepared, do my job and make sure I get in the car early enough where I can kind of calm everything down and just kind of try to stay focused up there, that’s key,” Glenn said. “With a four-wide, you never know if somebody’s going to go red or get timed out or let their foot slip up and jump through the beams. It just kind of throws a whole chaotic mix into it. At any time, any quad can get kind of really discombobulated really quickly.”

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Matt Smith is also after his third straight win in Charlotte, all after moving into the points lead in Reading to open the playoffs. John Hall rolled to the victory, claiming his second win of the season and throwing a huge wrench into the title chase. He won his first career playoff race, defeating back-to-back champ Gaige Herrera in the second round and then Smith in the final round.

“I just keep thinking there are way worse things I could be doing on a Sunday afternoon than possibly losing in a final at a national event on a Pro Stock Motorcycle,” Hall said. “So I keep pretty calm. I don’t get all worked up. It’s going to be what it’s going to be — go out there and do your job. We all know how to do it. Sometimes you’re better than others.”

The win sent Hall into a tie with Herrera for second in points, just six back of Smith. With Richard Gadson only nine points out, it should be a thriller in Charlotte as someone in the two-wheeled category attempts to gain an advantage in the championship chase.

In Top Fuel, Doug Kalitta grabbed the points lead in Reading, but he leads regular-season champ Tony Stewart by less than a round. Shawn Langdon, who won the four-wide race in the spring, is right behind in third, while other standouts include Brittany Force, Indy winner Justin Ashley, Clay Millican and reigning world champ Antron Brown.

Prock won last year’s Carolina Nationals when he defeated Matt Hagan. The John Force Racing standout remains in the points lead, but the reigning champ is just 25 points ahead of teammate Jack Beckman. Ron Capps is only 29 points behind, while other stars include Reading winner Cruz Pedregon, Matt Hagan and Paul Lee.

The NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals also will feature thrilling competition in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, which includes some of the sport’s top drivers, as well as the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock and the Pingel NHRA Top Fuel Motorcycle Series.

Fans will be invited to the Nitro Alley Stage all weekend, as the entertainment hub hosts Nitro School, meet and greets, music and much more. Race fans at zMAX Dragway can enjoy the special pre-race ceremonies that introduce and celebrate each of the drivers racing for the prestigious Wally on Sunday and includes the fan favorite SealMaster Track Walk. The final can’t-miss experience of any NHRA event is the winner’s circle celebration on Sunday, where fans are invited to congratulate the event winners.

As always, fans get an exclusive pit pass to the most powerful and sensory-filled motorsports attraction in Charlotte. This opportunity gives fans a chance to see teams in action and service their hot rods between rounds, get autographs from their favorite NHRA drivers and more. Fans can also visit NHRA’s popular Nitro Alley and Manufacturers Midway, which includes interactive displays, simulated competitions, merchandise, food, and fun for the entire family.

NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series will feature two qualifying rounds at 4 and 6:15 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 19, and the final two rounds of qualifying on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 12:30 and 3:00 p.m. Final eliminations are scheduled for 11 a.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 21. Television coverage includes qualifying action on FS1 at 10 a.m. ET and then live coverage eliminations at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet, on New Hampshire Motor Speedway: “Everyone at (Hendrick Motorsports) has been putting a lot of emphasis on short tracks for a while now, really focusing on improving our performance. The speed we had at (WWT Raceway) was encouraging. I felt we were a top-two-or-three car, maybe even better. That gives us a lot of optimism for the rest of the year, especially at the shorter, flatter tracks like New Hampshire and Phoenix (Raceway).”

Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet, on heading to New Hampshire Motor Speedway: “It’s a place that is unique in some ways. I do think probably most similar to Gateway (WWT Raceway). I felt like we had a really solid run. I was proud of our performance at Gateway. I hope that some of, if not all of those things can carry to Loudon, so I’m looking forward to getting up there and giving it our best shot.”

William Byron, driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet, on New Hampshire Motor Speedway: “New Hampshire (Motor Speedway) hasn’t been great to me in the Cup Series but in my early years it was one of my best tracks. I’m hoping that what we’ve been learning on tracks similar to this one will help us here as well. I definitely think we’ve made some ground up on this style of track this season. It would be nice to start of this round of the playoffs with a strong start, especially since the rest of the round are good tracks for us.”

Alex Bowman, driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet, on going to New Hampshire Motor Speedway: “Unfortunately, we had a mechanical failure there last year while running like top 10. So, that was a bummer. I like New Hampshire but we haven’t had much luck or speed there in the past. Hoping to turn that around this weekend.”

ELITE MOTORSPORTS RELEASES 2026 TOP FUEL PLANS

WYNNEWOOD, Okla. (Sept 18, 2025) – It was announced today that, once funded, motorsports icon Tony Stewart will take the wheel of the Elite Motorsports Top Fuel dragster for the 2026 Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series season.

Six-time Pro Stock world champion Erica Enders and drag racing phenom Aaron Stanfield will also test and license in the dragster as team owner Richard Freeman looks to further expand Elite Motorsports’ footprint in the NHRA.

“Having Tony as our driver, adding another Top Fuel entry, we’re taking care of the sport and opening up possibilities, that’s why we’ll have Erica and Aaron get licensed in the car as well. First things first though, we need to get the program funded, but letting everyone know our intentions, that will help,” said Freeman who purchased the Top Fuel operation from Josh Hart earlier this month. “Tony is a great driver, we all know he can drive anything. He’s great for drag racing, not just as a team owner, but behind the wheel. We’re excited that through our marketing alliance with Tony Stewart Racing we’re creating an opportunity for Tony to keep a Top Fuel seat and a chance to race alongside his wife, Leah [Pruett].”

“I said from the very beginning that I was just keeping Leah’s seat warm and that it was hers as soon as she was ready to come back,” Stewart said. “Well, she’s coming back in 2026 and that Direct Connection Dodge//SRT Top Fuel dragster is going to have her name on it, not mine. And as much as I wanted to continue driving, TSR is not in a position to add a second Top Fuel car. But with Richard buying Josh Hart’s team and our recent alliance, I can still work as an owner and a driver to help both our organizations grow.”

The 2026 season will be Stewart’s third behind the wheel of a Top Fuel dragster. The three-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion and former IndyCar champion earned the NHRA Rookie of the Year award in 2024 and in 2025 he broke through for the first Top Fuel win of his career at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Stewart now has two Top Fuel victories to his name as well as the 2025 NHRA regular season championship title. With five races left in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship Stewart is second in the points standings, just 18 behind the lead, as he attempts to chase down the 2025 Top Fuel world championship crown.

The Ford F-250 Super Duty has long been a favorite among drivers who need serious hauling muscle. Whether you’re towing a work trailer, hauling heavy equipment, or pulling a camper for a weekend getaway, the F-250 is built to handle the load. But even with its impressive engineering, there are ways to push the limits further. By understanding F-250 towing capacity, making the right upgrades, and keeping up with maintenance, you can unlock more performance and reliability when the pressure is on.

Understanding Your F-250’s Towing Limitations

Before bolting on performance parts, it’s important to know the baseline. Depending on model year and configuration, the towing capacity for F-250 Super Duty trucks varies widely. A 2011 Ford F-250 towing capacity may differ significantly from a 2023 F-250 towing capacity, with the latest models often exceeding 20,000 pounds when properly equipped.

Factors like engine type, axle ratio, and drivetrain (2WD vs. 4WD) all play a role. For example:

  • Ford F-250 gas towing capacity usually sits lower than its diesel counterpart.
  • The F-250 diesel tow capacity in Power Stroke-equipped trucks can exceed 20,000 pounds with a gooseneck or fifth-wheel setup.
  • Older models like the 2012 F-250 6.7 towing capacity or the 2013 Ford F-250 towing capacity will naturally fall short of the latest 2022 and 2023 versions.

One overlooked limitation is engine heat. High EGT (exhaust gas temperature) and carbon buildup in EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) systems can reduce efficiency, especially under heavy towing conditions. Recognizing these bottlenecks is the first step toward improvement.

Key Upgrades for Maximum Towing Power

If you’re serious about increasing your Ford F-250 Super Duty towing capacity, a few targeted upgrades can make all the difference:

  • Performance Tuner – Adjusts fuel mapping for hauling, helping maximize torque when climbing steep grades.
  • Cold Air Intake (CAI) – Improves airflow, reduces restriction, and sharpens throttle response.
  • Heavy-Duty Turbo Upgrade – Adds boost for more pulling power during long highway climbs.
  • EGR Delete Kit – Helps the engine run cooler by eliminating a major source of heat and soot buildup.

For drivers looking at diesel models, these mods can elevate your tow capacity F-250 Super Duty to handle heavier loads with less strain on the drivetrain.

How an EGR Delete Improves Towing Performance

One of the most effective upgrades for heavy towing is an EGR delete kit. While not suitable for street-driven trucks due to emissions regulations, off-road and competition builds benefit tremendously. By eliminating the EGR system, owners see:

  • Lower engine temperatures during long hauls.
  • Less carbon buildup, reducing the risk of clogged intakes.
  • Improved reliability over time, particularly under high-load towing.

For diesel enthusiasts, a Powerstroke EGR delete kit is one of the most popular solutions. It’s a proven way to keep temperatures down and performance strong when towing at maximum capacity.

Supporting Mods for a Better Towing Experience

Upgrades aren’t limited to horsepower and torque. Supporting systems matter just as much for safety and longevity:

  • Transmission Cooler – Reduces heat, preventing premature wear during long-distance hauls.
  • Upgraded Exhaust System – Reduces backpressure and helps manage engine temps.
  • Suspension and Brake Upgrades – Improves stability, giving you more confidence when towing at or near maximum capacity.

A properly balanced setup ensures that the extra power you unlock translates into a smoother and safer driving experience.

Maintenance Tips for Peak Performance

Heavy-duty towing puts added strain on your truck, which makes consistent maintenance non-negotiable. A few essentials include:

  • Oil Change Intervals – Shorten oil change schedules when towing frequently. Diesel engines in particular benefit from cleaner oil under stress.
  • Turbo & Intercooler Health – Inspect for leaks or performance dips that may affect boost under load.
  • Fuel Injectors & DPF System – Monitor these regularly, as towing increases soot production and fuel demand.

When combined with the reliability of a well-maintained Powerstroke engine, these maintenance steps ensure your F-250 stays capable and dependable mile after mile.

Before making modifications, remember that not every upgrade is street-legal. EGR deletes, for instance, are intended for off-road or race use only. Installing one on a road-registered truck can result in fines or failed inspections.

Additionally, aftermarket mods may affect your factory warranty. It’s wise to weigh the benefits of increased towing power against the potential risks for coverage. Some owners keep a separate off-road build to avoid conflicts, while others opt for warranty-friendly upgrades.

Final Thoughts

The Ford F-250 Super Duty towing capacity is already impressive, but for truck owners who demand more, the right combination of upgrades and maintenance can unlock even greater potential. Whether it’s a 2018 F-250 towing capacity you’re trying to improve or pushing a 2020 Ford F-250 towing capacity setup to its limits, a thoughtful approach makes all the difference.

By combining performance upgrades like tuners and turbo kits with supporting mods and smart maintenance, you can elevate your truck’s capability while keeping it reliable. Just remember to stay mindful of warranty rules and legal restrictions, especially when considering an EGR delete.

The last eight races of 2025 were won by eight different drivers.

Truck Series Highlights

This weekend will be the 21st Truck Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the first since September 2017.

There are only two Playoff drivers who previously raced in the Truck Series at New Hampshire – Grant Enfinger and Daniel Hemric.

In the last 10 races at New Hampshire, all of the 10 winners started on the front row.

Five different drivers have won the last five Truck Series races at New Hampshire.

Sixty-five percent of the New Hampshire races have been won from the front row (13 of 20).

FUNNY CAR’S CRUZ PEDREGON EMBRACING FIRST PLAYOFF FOUR-WIDE AT NHRA 4-WIDE CAROLINA NATIONALS

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 17, 2025) – If it’s all coming together for two-time Funny Car champ Cruz Pedregon, it’s happening at the perfect time, especially heading into this weekend’s NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals at spectacular zMAX Dragway.

Pedregon picked up his first win last weekend in Reading since the finale in 2022, snapping a long winless streak and putting him firmly in an already intense Funny Car championship chase.

Throw in the wild and unpredictable nature of the first four-wide race in Countdown to the Championship history, and anything could happen this weekend in Charlotte. Pedregon already proved that at the playoff opener and with the top four drivers – leader Austin Prock, Jack Beckman, Ron Capps and Paul Lee – separated by just 35 points, it’s already a heated battle for the world title.

Pedregon jumped all the way to sixth with his win in his 12,000-horsepower Snap-On Dodge Hellcat and is now just 65 points out of first with five races left. He’s also performed well in the unique four-wide format over the years, adding extra confidence on a weekend where he hopes to make another big move.

“Charlotte’s always been one of my favorite tracks,” Pedregon said. “We’ve had some big wins here and the four-wide format just adds to the excitement. Survive and advance, that’s what it’s all about. With five races to go, we’re right in the mix and that’s exactly where we want to be. We’re ready to keep it rolling this weekend and now we know we have the speed to contend. The Reading win was huge. The key is keeping that consistency and carrying the momentum (into Charlotte).”

Last year’s NHRA Carolina Nationals saw Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Austin Prock (Funny Car), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) each claiming wins. This season’s race will again be broadcast on FS1, including live coverage of eliminations beginning at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21.

It is the second of six races in the Countdown to the Championship – and the 16th of 20 races in 2025 – and Pedregon is peaking and finally over the hump when it comes to wins.

His young team had been building to this, qualifying No. 1 in Norwalk, but consistency had evaded them on raceday. That wasn’t the case in Reading, as Pedregon made a series of strong runs en route to his 40th career win. It was a long time coming, but Pedregon certainly can’t be counted out now.

Along with the top four, four-time Matt Hagan is fifth, while other title contenders include J.R. Todd, Daniel Wilkerson, rookie Spencer Hyde and Alexis DeJoria. One win doesn’t solve everything, but for Pedregon, it was all about his team proving to themselves they could win. Now that it’s happened, he’s confident the team can continue to improve.

“Sometimes you need to find a little confidence. If I could bottle confidence and sell it, I’d really have something,” Pedregon said. “But the car’s been coming around. The runs at Brainerd International Raceway (in August) showed it. We went through the growing pains, but I’ve got a good group and now here we are.”

In Top Fuel, Doug Kalitta grabbed the points lead in Reading, but he leads regular-season champion Tony Stewart by less than a round. Shawn Langdon, who won the four-wide race in the spring, is right behind and third while other standouts include Brittany Force, Indy winner Justin Ashley, Clay Millican and reigning world champ Antron Brown.

Glenn, an area resident, won last year over Aaron Stanfield. He also won in the spring as the points leader looks for three in a row at his home track. Glenn is off to a stellar start in the playoffs, winning the opener. His challengers include teammate and reigning world champion Greg Anderson, Matt Hartford, Cory Reed and Erica Enders.

Six-time Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Smith calls zMAX Dragway home and he’s also looking for three straight at zMAX. He moved into the points lead in Reading, leading event winner and back-to-back world champ Gaige Herrera by just six points and Richard Gadson by only nine points.

TEAM CHEVY NASCAR RACE ADVANCE: New Hampshire Motor Speedway

TEAM CHEVY ADVANCE
New Hampshire Motor Speedway
September 20-21, 2025

NASCAR pays just one visit to the New England region each season, which is coming up this weekend as the Cup and Craftsman Truck Series will make the trek up to New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

It’s a big weekend for the “Magic Mile” as the Loudon, New Hampshire, circuit will welcome the Truck Series back for the first time since the 2017 season. This weekend will also mark the first time in eight years that the track has played a role in the sport’s playoff schedule, with Saturday’s EJP 175 bringing the Truck Series Round of 10 to a close and Sunday’s Mobil 1 301 opening the Round of 12 for NASCAR’s top division. Four Team Chevy drivers remain in title contention in each division.

 Chevrolet at the “Magic Mile”:

Chevrolet leads both the NASCAR Cup and Truck Series in all-time wins at New Hampshire Motor Speedway – entering the weekend with 19 wins in 53 Cup Series races and eight wins in 20 Truck Series races.

Among its “Magic Mile” wins in NASCAR’s top division includes nine alongside Hendrick Motorsports – enough to rank the Chevrolet organization second on the track’s all-time wins list in the series. The first Cup Series win for both Chevrolet and Hendrick Motorsports at Loudon came in July 1995 – the series’ third appearance at the track – with NASCAR Hall of Famer, Jeff Gordon. Hendrick Motorsports has been on the brink of a double-digit win count at the track in recent seasons. Since the debut of the Next Gen car, the Chevrolet organization has earned a top-five finish in each event, including back-to-back podium results with Chase Elliott (second – 2022) and Kyle Larson (third – 2023).

Busch Banks Victories in All Three Series:

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is among the many venues where Kyle Busch has found success across all three NASCAR national series. The 40-year-old Las Vegas, Nevada, native is a three-time Cup Series winner at the “Magic Mile” – a record that ties fellow competitor, Denny Hamlin, for the most among active drivers in the division. Busch has also tallied six Xfinity Series wins and three Truck Series wins at New Hampshire – both of which are series-leading feats. The Chevrolet driver is one of just two drivers in NASCAR’s history to earn victories in all three divisions at the track.

 Setting Streaks:

Chevrolet’s history at New Hampshire Motor Speedway also includes a pair of record-setting streaks. The Bowtie brand tallied six-straight wins (Sept. 2009 – July 2012) and six-straight pole wins (July 1996 – July 1999) in NASCAR’s top division at the track – a record that still stands today. In the Truck Series, Chevrolet’s trio of wins in the series’ first-three appearances at the one-mile venue ties Toyota for the most consecutive wins by a single manufacturer at the track.

FOUR TEAM CHEVY DRIVERS CONTINUE IN CUP SERIES TITLE FIGHT

With the opening round of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs officially in the books, four Team Chevy drivers have earned a spot in the Round of 12 to continue on in the championship title hunt. The playoff rankings have restacked for the first of three races in the next round – putting Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron and Kyle Larson in the second and third positions, respectively. The pair are two of the six drivers that will enter the New Hampshire race weekend with a double-digit points cushion – each sitting at 24-points above the cutline. Their Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Chase Elliott, will take on the Round of 12 from the seventh position (+5 points), with fellow Team Chevy driver, Ross Chastain, ranked 11th (-2 points).

The Round of 12 will serve a trio of diverse tracks with the “Magic Mile” followed by the 1.5-mile oval of Kansas Speedway and the 2.28-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway Road course. Larson and Elliott are among the five remaining title contenders that have found victory lane in two of the three tracks in this round. Larson is a three-time Kansas winner and a two-time Charlotte ROVAL winner, with the 2021 champion returning to each venue as the series’ defending winner. Elliott’s resume sees one Kansas victory and two Charlotte ROVAL victories. Among those triumphs includes his 2020 ROVAL victory that solidified his spot in the Round of Eight – ultimately leading him to his first career Cup Series championship.

Hocevar Making Noise:

While he might be out of title contention this season, Carson Hocevar is driving for another career milestone – his first victory in NASCAR’s top division. The 22-year-old Portage, Michigan, native has finished in the top-15 in the past three races, including a ninth-place finish at Darlington Raceway and a seventh-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway. His eighth top-10 finish of the season last weekend was accompanied by a top-five stage finish and 26 laps led.

 TRUCK SERIES NEW HAMPSHIRE HOMECOMING

With the playoff pressure already heightened for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ first elimination race of the 2025 playoffs, there will be an added element of unknowns as the series will take on New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the first time in eight years. For much of the playoff field, Saturday’s 175-lap event will mark their first career start at the “Magic Mile”. Among the 10 remaining playoff contenders, Team Chevy’s Daniel Hemric and Grant Enfinger are the only drivers that have competed in a Truck Series race at New Hampshire. Hemric has made two career Truck Series starts at the Loudon-based venue, including a best finish of sixth that came in his first appearance at the track (Sept. 2015). For Enfinger, his one Truck Series start came in the series’ last race at the track in Sept. 2017 – a race that ended with a fourth-place result.

Team Chevy Drivers Enter Elimination Above the Cutline:

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoffs Round of 10 includes four drivers from three different Chevrolet organizations – tying the highest representation by a single manufacturer in the opening round. Heading into the first elimination race of the 2025 playoffs, all four Team Chevy drivers sit in the top-eight positions of the playoff rankings – each having a double-digit points cushion above the cutline. McAnally-Hilgemann Racing’s Daniel Hemric holds the first provisional points position in third with a 51-point advantage over the bubble. Consistency has been key for the 34-year-old Kannapolis, North Carolina, native – driving his No. 19 Silverado RST to a second- and fifth-place result to open the postseason. Rounding out the rankings includes CR7 Motorsports’ Grant Enfinger in fifth (+29 points), McAnally-Hilgemann Racing’s Tyler Ankrum in sixth (+29 points) and Spire Motorsports’ Rajah Caruth in eighth (+14).

QUOTABLE QUOTES:

Ross Chastain, No. 1 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet

How much do you think the tire test from New Hampshire is going to help you this weekend?

“I hope a lot (laughs). Two solid days of testing and over 700 laps. We went through a lot of things up there, some felt good, some did not. Trackhouse and Chevy have been digging through all of the data to see what they think is going to be best. As long as we helped Chevy, that’s the most important thing, but obviously I hope there was something we learned for the No. 1 car.”

What is your outlook going into round 2 of the Playoffs?

“I’m glad we survived and made the second round of the Playoffs. Obviously, I wish it was more than survival but I feel pretty good about this round. We have New Hampshire this weekend and we did the tire test there so hopefully we learned some things we can apply. Then we have Kansas (Speedway), which we won last year, so I think that bodes well for us. The Roval is probably going to be the wild card for me in this round but we’ll see how everything shakes out. I’m going to do the things I do to prep for the races and hope the results earn us enough points to get to the next round.”

Austin Dillon, No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet

What’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway like?

“New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a flat mile. It’s a bigger short track. I always love going there. It’s a challenging place. You get to slip and slide around a little bit. The exit of Turn 2 is rough. The track has a lot of content, so finding a good balance in the race car is important.”

What’s the most challenging aspect of racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway?

“I think the most challenging part is the exit of Turn 2 just because of how rough it has gotten over there. There are some big bumps in Turn 3 as well, so dealing with the track content is probably the hardest part.”

What is RCR to you?

“RCR to me is family. Every time I come across the railroad tracks into the shop and see the men and women here that put all of the time and effort into these race cars and the history behind it. I love the history of RCR. I’ve been all over this place. Every wall. Every corner. It’s a place I’ve grown up my entire life at. I don’t think you can describe RCR in one word. It’s a lot of things. It’s heart.”

Justin Haley, No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet

After earning a 13th-place finish at Bristol, what’s your outlook heading into New Hampshire?

“Bristol was a solid weekend from start to finish for the No. 7 team. We had a great car all weekend and we executed well. We are putting together weekends and that gives us confidence heading to New Hampshire. One-mile race tracks are always tricky, so we’re looking to be fast when we unload and execute a solid weekend.”

Kyle Busch, No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet

What makes New Hampshire so challenging?

“New Hampshire is a really tricky racetrack. It’s super flat and has bumpy characteristics to it as well. The asphalt has really gotten old over the years. It feels like racing over highway cracks, but those are all characteristics of a good racetrack. It’s just really challenging and very tough to pass. Everybody says it’s multi-groove. You could run three different grooves there, but there’s really only one that’s fast and that’s the middle one. It makes for a challenging Sunday.”

Why has New Hampshire been so tough for you in the last few years?

“Unfortunately, for me, the last couple of years at New Hampshire have been a huge struggle. This new Next Gen car and I have just not gone well together at New Hampshire. It’s been easy for me to get in trouble because of the nature of the car, the way it rides, the bumps, and the different topography of the track at each end to make grip. It’s definitely a challenge of moving your line around in the corners to improve the balance of the car because this new car doesn’t like different angles and transitions very well.”

You’ve won five poles at New Hampshire. Why do you qualify so well there?

“I’m not really sure why I’ve had a good qualifying record there; it’s just always kind of worked out that way. I feel like qualifying at New Hampshire is important just because of track position because it’s so hard to pass, making sure you’re in good position at the start of the race just to keep your day simple. I’ve always kind of put an emphasis on qualifying to make sure we do well.”

What’s your mentality coming into this week and the remainder of 2025?

“We’ve got to win. We want to put ourselves and our No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet in Victory Lane and it doesn’t matter if it’s at New Hampshire Motor Speedway or any week out, but the sooner the better.”

AJ Allmendinger, No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet

“I would say New Hampshire is probably one of the toughest racetracks we go to just in the sense of trying to drive. The seams are difficult and the track being really flat. So always difficult setup wise and on the driving side of it to go out there and find speed. We know our program has speed; we’ve shown that over the last few weeks, even if the end result doesn’t always show it. We’re looking to put together a solid run this weekend and get a little bit of momentum back.”

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., No. 47 Hyak Motorsports Chevrolet

“I’m really excited to bring the Hyak Motorsports paint scheme to the track for the first time at New Hampshire. It’s always special to debut a new look, and this one means a lot to our team. Hopefully we can give the fans a strong run and make the first race with this scheme one to remember.”

Michael McDowell, No. 71 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet

Loudon constantly runs into rain. How does the weather change the race?

“I hope it rains. The best I’ve run at New Hampshire is in the rain. It has not been a great track for me statistically, but the short tracks for us this year have been better than what the short tracks have been in the past for me, so I feel like we have another opportunity. Similar to Martinsville and Phoenix, we feel like we’ve made gains and hopefully we’ll keep that going this weekend at Loudon.”

Carson Hocevar, No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet

You only have one start at New Hampshire across all three of NASCAR’s national series. How do approach a track where you don’t have an extensive notebook to pull from?

“Crazy things have been known to happen at New Hampshire. I don’t have a ton of experience there so it’s still a learning experience for me when we unload on Saturday. Thankfully I have a good group of guys on the No. 77, and Luke (Lambert, crew chief) and Tyler (Green, spotter) do a great job of coaching me through everything. I think we have a good opportunity to finish out the season strong.”

Shane van Gisbergen, No. 88 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet

It’s disappointing not to advance in the playoffs. How do you assess what you and the No. 88 team accomplished so far this season?

“I knew it was going to be a long shot last weekend at (Bristol), but I’m still proud of what we have achieved this year. It’s been a huge privilege to be in the Playoffs, but everyone knew the first round was going to be difficult. I just didn’t do a good enough job on the ovals. I know we’re strong on the road courses, but I just need to keep improving at the ovals.”
