Keselowski ran out of fuel while leading on lap 59 at Charlotte, and that miscalculation may have cost him the win. After a late stop for gas, Keseklowski emerged 16th and finished 11th. He now leads Jimmie Johnson in the point standings by seven.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. suffers concussion

NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Junior, pilot of the No.88 Chevrolet…whatever it is, and part of the Rick Hendrick/Ankle Bracelets for Christ racing mega-stable, suffered a devastating concussion after giving himself a violent facepalm upon the conclusion of the Good Sam 500 at the NASCAR Talladega High-Speed Crash Test Facility, outside of Talladega, Alabama.
