Kansas City, KS - By finishing seventh at the Charlotte Roval and eighth at Dover, John Hunter Nemechek came into Kansas looking to keep that consistency going into Kansas.
Despite finishing eighth at Dover International Speedway Saturday afternoon, pit stop mistakes kept John Hunter Nemechek and his No. 23 GMS Racing team from making it to the next round of the playoffs.
"First time at the Roval, it was a fun experience, good day for us," Nemechek told PRN Radio. "Battle back from adversity and ended up seventh. Every point matters in this situation."
Briscoe tried to catch Tyler Reddick but was not fast enough to do so and fell .655 seconds short of winning at Bristol. However, despite finishing second, the No. 98 driver isn't pleased with the finish.
