The No. 54 JGR pit crew led by crew chief Chris Gayle and piloted by rookie Ty Gibbs were awarded a $100,000 bonus for executing the fastest pit stop time and awarding Gibbs pole position for the All-Star Open.

William Byron topped qualifying at Kansas Speedway with a 179.206 mph lap in the No. 24 Chevrolet to claim his second pole of the season and his 10th career NASCAR Cup Series pole. The Hendrick Motorsports driver will be joined on the front row by teammate, Kyle Larson, who came up a little short with a 179.17 mph lap.

The former Daytona 500 & Brickyard 400 champion from South Bend, Indiana, is set to make his first Cup start of the season at Darlington Raceway in May.

The 2017 Cup Series champion from Mayetta, New Jersey, led 68 of 400-scheduled laps and prevailed in a seven-lap shootout to win his first Cup points-paying event since September 2021.

This weekend the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series travel to Dover Motor Speedway. Friday evening will showcase the ARCA Menards Series East and the Xfinity Series will take center stage Saturday afternoon. The Cup Series will close out the weekend with the Würth 400 race on the one-mile concrete paved oval track known as the ‘Monster Mile.
