SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2010) – Fans that want a little extra helping of NASCAR before race weekend will not want to miss the Stater Bros. Racefest presented by Pepsi at Auto Club Speedway on Thursday, Oct. 7.

For the 6th year, Stater Bros. Supermarkets will sponsor this free event to the public (admission and parking) which will be held in the DiscoverIE FanZone outside the front stretch and in the shadow of Auto Club Speedway. Stater Bros. Racefest is scheduled from 5 – 9 p.m. and is an exciting kickoff to the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup playoff weekend at Auto Club Speedway, highlighted by the Pepsi MAX 400.

With the much anticipated Pepsi MAX 400 scheduled just three days later (Sunday Oct. 10), the Stater Bros. Racefest will provide a glimpse of the celebrity and excitement that is NASCAR with a fun-filled evening including driver autograph and Q&A sessions, a freestyle motocross stunt show with Rockstar Metal Mulisha, live music, rides, games, souvenir trailers, a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series hauler parade and great food & beverages.
