David Ragan – California Advance

David Ragan – NSCS ADVANCE

Team:          No. 6 UPS Ford Fusion

Crew Chief:  Drew Blickensderfer

Chassis:      Primary: RK-744   Brand new chassis                    Backup: RK-695

Ragan on racing at Auto Club Speedway: “California is a track where the Fords excel at and it’s one of the tracks Drew and I got to work together at last year which just adds to our confidence level going into this weekend.  Last year we ran a newer-style car like we are taking this time so we’ve got good notes to go off of.  It’s a track that you can really pass and move around a lot since there isn’t one set groove.  Finding where the car is the best is always a challenge at California and makes for a fun race.”   Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Auto Club Speedway: “California is a race track that wears out tires, so a good handling chassis is important.  It’s also one of the bigger tracks we go to so our motor is also very important.  All aspects of our team need to be working in order to get a good finish.  We were running well last year until an accident right at the end, but we are taking a brand new UPS Ford this weekend and are looking to get back to the front where we belong.”
