Kile made his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) debut with Turner Motorsports at Nashville Superspeedway in April.
Welcome aboard Battery Tender… Kile’s No. 30 Impala will sport the colors of Battery Tender and Sears Auto Centers this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. Battery Tender will celebrate its debut in Sears Auto Centers in conjunction with Father’s Day weekend.
Welcome aboard STP®… Turner Motorsports is very pleased to announce that they are joining forces with STP® this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway, on a weekend in which the iconic brand is serving as title sponsor of the NNS race on Saturday and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway on Sunday. The STP® logo, which has long been a presence in the sport, will be prominently featured on each of the team’s four entries in Saturday’s STP 300 – the No. 38 of Jason Leffler, the No. 32 of Reed Sorenson, the No. 31 of Justin Allgaier and the No. 30 to be driven by Mikey Kile.

The STP product line of oil and fuel additives, functional fluids and automotive appearance products has a broad customer base ranging from professional racers to car enthusiasts and “Do-it-Yourselfers”.
This week’s Impala… The No. 30 Battery Tender team will hit the track with chassis TMS-120 this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. This chassis last saw track action at Dover International Raceway where James Buescher finished eighth after starting 12th.
– Start of a new era for Turner Motorsports… The 2011 season marks the start of a new era for Turner Motorsports. The team has expanded in 2011 from a two-truck operation in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) to become the largest stand-alone multi-series team in NASCAR’s top-tier touring series, fielding three entries in the NCWTS and four entries in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS). Three of the team’s regular NNS drivers (Jason Leffler, Reed Sorenson and Justin Allgaier) have been pegged as viable contenders to win the 2011 NNS driver championship.

Mikey Kile on getting back behind the wheel at Chicagoland Speedway “I am excited to get back behind the wheel of the No. 30 Impala. I learned a lot in Nashville about the Nationwide cars and communicating with the team and I will be able to expand upon that this weekend. I’m proud to have our great new partners, Battery Tender and STP ® on the car this weekend and hopefully bring home a solid finish for them both.”
