QUOTES

Trevor Bayne on racing at Kentucky Speedway: “We had a disappointing run last week at Daytona, so this week is big for our No. 16 team. The buzz at Kentucky will be about the inaugural Cup race, but the Nationwide race will be every bit as exciting. The field is full of cup veterans who will be trying to dominate the race and prepare for Saturday night. I would like to spoil that plan for those guys. I believe our Ford Mustangs will be the class of the field if we get them dialed in during practice sessions. I have had some success at Kentucky in the past, so coming back and running a solid race is expected. I know we can run with the best of them as long as we stay focused and limit our in-race mistakes.”

Crew chief Chris Andrews on racing at Kentucky Speedway: “Our mile and a half program has been solid this year, so I expect nothing less than a top-five finish this weekend at Kentucky. I know there will be fast cars in the race, but we have continued to make improvements on our race cars every week. Trevor is back in the swing of things and is hungry for a break-through win in the Nationwide Series. Trevor has been close a few times this year and I feel it is my responsibility to do everything in my power to put him in a position to win a race.”
