THE QUOTES
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang: “We’ve kind of struggled at Nashville in the past. We had a really good Mustang there last time, ran fifth and had some speed to maybe be a little bit better than that. We’re pretty optimistic going back. We feel like we’ve made our cars a little bit better so hopefully we’ll be able to start closer than we did there last time and have another good run.”
WHAT ARE SOME THE CHALLENGES AT NASHVILLE? “The concrete is just difficult. For me it’s just hard to get that good feel that you want in a race car to be fast and comfortable at the same time. One of the challenges is that we practice in the daylight and race at night so that’s going to be a little different than the last race.”
Mike Kelley, Crew Chief, No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang: “Nashville is a tough little track because it races kind of like a mile-and-a-half but it also is a heavy braking track. It’s concrete so it throws a lot of little things at you. Brakes are important there but you’ve got to have a good enough aero-balance because it’s high speed. There’d be nothing better than to go back there and come out of there with a win and get Ricky one of those guitars.”
