Matt Kenseth – New Hampshire Advance

Matt Kenseth – NSCS ADVANCE

Team:          No. 17 Affliction Clothing Live Fast Ford Fusion

Crew Chief:  Jimmy Fennig

Chassis:      Primary: RK-751 (last raced at Bristol)

Kenseth on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

“New Hampshire is a place that we just haven’t done particularly well at in the past. It isn’t that I dislike the track, but everyone has tracks they like more than others, and Loudon just isn’t one of our best ones.  We had a great car and pit stops last weekend, but didn’t get the finish we deserved, so I’m hoping that we can get a good run on Sunday to put us back into contention.  The best handling cars at Loudon can turn well in the center of the corner, and typically if you can get your car to work well in those corners, you can have a good day at New Hampshire.”

Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

“Going to New Hampshire this weekend, we’re hoping to get a strong finish for Matt after Chicago last week.  Loudon is a place that is challenging for many drivers since it doesn’t offer a lot of room to pass, so you really have to work hard at every aspect when you race there.  We’ll look to qualify well and also have fast pit stops in order to give Matt every advantage we can on Sunday.  We have some ground to make up from Chicago, but I’m confident in this No. 17 team and what we’ve been able to do so far this season.”
