Biffle on Texas: “I love racing at Texas. We had a couple of chances to win there last year and just had things go wrong. We led over 200 laps there last fall and had a shifter problem that took us out of contention for the win. Based on how fast our cars have been at mile-and-a-half tracks this year, I feel confident that we can go back to Texas and compete for a win if we don’t have anything go wrong.”
Puccia on Texas: “We’re taking the car to Texas this weekend that we sat on the pole with in Kansas. The team also had a good run with this car the last time they raced in Texas. So with this car’s history and the way we’ve been running at the mile-and-a-half tracks lately, I think we have a good chance to run up front this weekend. The challenge is that the race starts in the heat of the afternoon and ends at dusk so we have to be prepared to adjust with the changing track conditions. If we can do that and stay out of trouble, I think we can be in position to bring home some cowboy hats and get the momentum we need to finish strong.”
