San Antonio (March 29, 2012) – David Starr with the Arrington Racing team will head to Martinsville, Va., with the No. 81 Zachry Toyota Tundra for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Kroger 250 on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Only one race into the season, Starr was one of many drivers caught in an unavoidable wreck at Daytona. Despite the need for extensive repair of his truck, Starr and his crew are ready to roll at the Martinsville Speedway, the shortest track in the series.
“Daytona was a tough one, but we did our best out there. Safety is always our top priority,” said Starr. “Every race presents its own challenges, Martinsville included, but with my sponsor Zachry behind me, and my awesome Arrington Racing team, we are prepared for anything.”
Martinsville has historically been a choice venue for Starr who has won one victory, three top-fives and nine top-tens on the short track. His strong Martinsville record and quick-paced racing experience could provide an edge in this action-packed race.
In the 2012 NCWTS season, Starr will race with primary sponsorship from longtime supporter San Antonio-based Zachry Holdings, Inc. Other sponsors throughout the seasons include, Build Your Future; Linda Rudd and Steve Hellmuth with Striping Technologies; Jordan Truck Sales; Chasco Constructors; Allegro Marinades; fentonmotors.com; and Aubrey Health Mart Pharmacy.
