This Week’s Toyota Tundra … John Wes Townley will pilot RAB Racing Chassis No. 48 is his bid to make the SFP 250 this weekend at Kansas Speedway. This is a brand new Toyota Tundra that will be put through its first paces this weekend at Kansas. I’ve Been Here Before … While Townley has not yet raced at Kansas Speedway in Camping World Truck Series competition, he has raced there before. Driving the No. 09 machine for RAB Racing in the Nationwide Series, Townley finished 31st in the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300. RAB at Kansas … In addition to Townley’s 31st-place finish in 2009, RAB Racing with Brack Maggard fielded two additional Nationwide Series entries, one in 2010 with driver Brian Scott, who recorded a 21st-place finish, and Kenny Wallace in 2011, who finished 19th. Get to the Points… With his 20th-place finish at Rockingham Speedway last Sunday, Townley advanced seven positions, to 27th, in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver point standings.
