[/media-credit]RICHMOND, Virginia (April 20, 2012) – – Rookie driver Tanner Berryhill will pilot SR² Motorsports No. 24 New Gulf Resources Chevrolet Impala in next Friday’s Nationwide Series 250 at Richmond (Va.) Tanner Berryhill will be under the care of SR2 Motorsport’s crew chief along with his father, Vision Racing owner, Adrian Berryhill, assisting from the sidelines, for his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) debut.

In addition to the NASCAR Nationwide Series being added to his resume, Berryhill also has competed in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, the CARS Pro Cup Series (formally known as the USARacing Pro Cup Series), ASA Late Models, seven starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Series, and the United States Auto Club (USAC).
The Nationwide Series 250 (250 laps / 187.5 miles) is the seventh of 33 events on the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule. The first and only practice session of the weekend begins on Friday, April 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Qualifying is set for later in the day scheduled to lift off at 4:05 p.m. The field will take the green flag that night just after 7:30 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN2, the Motor Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Satellite Radio, Channel 90). Pre-race coverage of the anticipated thriller is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. EST.
