Get your Golden Tickets! You could be a winner!

BROOKLYN, Mich. (April 25, 2012) – Two words: Golden Tickets. Now is your chance to be treated like a VIP at Michigan International Speedway.

An MIS Podcast on the ticket mailing is posted on our You Tube channel at:

MIS and its Fan Appreciation Program have taken the Golden Ticket Program to unparalleled heights. Out with the randomness and in with all-inclusiveness. Every account holder will receive a Golden Ticket in the same package as their race tickets in the mail. While each ticket will not be a winner, MIS is giving each account holder the chance to feel victorious.

And what is better than winning? Be sure to look for the exclusive Golden Ticket in your package. Then simply scratch off the silver box to see if you have won.

“MIS is dedicated to giving back to our fans,” track President Roger Curtis said. “We started our Fan Appreciation Program four years ago and have expanded it each year and we have again this year. All of us at MIS remember the sheer excitement of our first time to go into the NASCAR garage, or stand on the flag stand, or get a pace car ride – things we all dreamed about as fans that we do working in NASCAR. It is important to us to give back to our fans and allow them to experience these things as fans. That is what our sport, and MIS, is all about.”

Stopping short of awarding a pot of gold, MIS put together packages that would make any NASCAR fan jealous. The experiences will include special VIP access, pre-race ceremonies, driver introductions, pace car rides and so much more. One lucky fan will even have the opportunity to travel to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas.

MIS is the only track in NASCAR to allow a fan to present the Fan Trophy to the winning driver in Gatorade Victory Lane. The crew members of the winning race team will also receive a smaller version of the Fan Trophy.

Tickets that aren’t winners may be redeemed for a second-chance drawing at the racetrack through the race weekend.

Even Print @ Home tickets will have the chance to win! E-mails will be sent to randomly chosen winners.

Michigan International Speedway will present over 1,000 prizes to the guests over the next several weeks. Fans will have the opportunity to experience VIP treatment at both the June 15-17 and August 17-19 race weekends.

If fans receive a golden ticket, depending on the experience awarded, they must redeem it at the Fan Appreciation booth, located near the flag pole in the center of the New Holland Fan Plaza. Instructions on where to redeem will be provided on the back of the golden ticket.

Fans may also visit www.MISpeedway.com/fanappreciation for details on their upgrade.

Curtis and his staff are committed to providing its fans with memorable experiences each trip to MIS and the Fan Appreciation Program is an extension of that commitment. Fan feedback has also played an important role in many of the facility improvements that the speedway has invested over the last few years as well as the creation of the Fan Advisory Board (FAB) and Fan Advisory Network (FAN), which weighs in on many MIS initiatives.

Nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is the Great Escape, a venerable NASCAR national park where fans can get away and enjoy the very best in racing and camaraderie. It’s the love of racing and the thrill of a great time for race fans and drivers alike.

All tickets are on sale at http://www.MISpeedway.com or by phone at 800-354-1010.
