Day of Wine and Race Cars Scheduled at Richard Childress Racing and Childress Vineyards

Lexington, N.C. (May 3, 2012) – Richard Childress Racing and Childress Vineyards will co-host a full day of activities for fans May 25 during the ’12 FAN DAY celebration at the award-winning winery and the RCR Museum.

Activities at each venue will begin at 9 a.m. Eastern Time with autograph sessions, show car and sponsor partner displays, guided museum and winery tours scheduled throughout the day. The RCR Museum will have a giant tent sale, with specific racing memorabilia sales to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation. Fans can participate in drawings, hide-and-tweet contests and Facebook trivia throughout the day for a chance to win prizes.

There will be two free autograph sessions, with the first beginning at 11 a.m. at the RCR Museum, followed by one at 1 p.m. at Childress Vineyards, with Richard Childress, RCR drivers, and key RCR personnel. Tickets will be required for each session and will be distributed at the specific location beginning at 9 a.m. In addition to Richard Childress and Chocolate Myers, drivers currently scheduled to sign autographs include Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, Austin Dillon, Elliott Sadler, Brendan Gaughan, Ty Dillon, and Joey Coulter.

The full-day event will conclude at Childress Vineyards with a concert on the lawn by Curb Records recording artist Tim Dugger. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are $20 per person and are available by calling 336-236-9463 or online at .
