Abingdon, VA.—TMI (Team McClure, Inc.) announced today that due to injuries sustained last Saturday following a crash at Talladega Superspeedway, Eric McClure will be sidelined for Friday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Darlington Raceway.  Jeff Green, the 2000 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion and teammate to McClure at TriStar Motorsports will drive the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Toyota at Darlington.

Green, an Owensboro, Ky. native, has 18 career Nationwide Series starts at “The Lady in Black” and has one win, five top-five, and nine top-10 finishes there.

McClure has said he will make himself available to the media at the Jim Hunter Media Center at Darlington Raceway at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, May 11.
