This week’s truck

RBR Enterprises is bringing TK92-05 to Charlotte as its primary entry for the N.C. Education Lottery 200. The truck saw its first action with the team at Rockingham back in April.

The truck will be sporting primary sponsors Black’s Tire and Auto Service on the quarter panel, fleetHQ.com on the hood and QMI on the rear deck. The truck will also be adorned with the same Dilmar Oil Company logo it carried in Rockingham. New on the truck this week is BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors partner dealer Fatback’s Tire and Auto. Owned by former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series crew chief Michael “Fatback” McSwain, Fatback’s Tire and Auto is located in Dallas, N.C.

On building rapport with his team…

I am really looking forward to being able to work more with these guys (the RBR Enterprises team). With the way the schedule has been and just being in Rockingham on race day, we haven’t had a lot of time at the track together. I think the more we get that opportunity, the better we will be.

Quoting crew chief Jason Overstreet

On the team’s layoff since Rockingham…

A month is too long to be away from the racetrack. But we have made the best of the time. We are bringing the same truck we ran at Rockingham. It was good there; we just got back in the field with the driver change and that long green flag run early in the race. It’ll be better at Charlotte.
