DANICA PATRICK TICKET PACKAGE, WHICH INCLUDES Q&A, AVAILABLE FOR IRWIN TOOLS NIGHT RACE

[media-credit name=”bristolmotorspeedway.com” align=”alignright” width=”300″][/media-credit]BRISTOL, Tenn. (Wednesday, May 23, 2012) – Danica Patrick makes history again at Bristol Motor Speedway Saturday, Aug. 25 when she attempts to qualify for the IRWIN Tools Night Race.

Fans have the chance not only to see her become the first woman to make a NASCAR Sprint Cup start at BMS since Janet Guthrie did so in 1977, but also take part in a question-and-answer session that is part of a special ticket package involving Patrick.

The ticket packages, which also include a Patrick racing cap, are available now and start at $100.

Other drivers participating in question-and-answer sessions as part of ticket packages are Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski and Kasey Kahne, all former winners in either Cup or Nationwide action at the World’s Fastest Half-Mile.

With every Gordon ticket package sold, a $24 donation is made to the AARP Foundation to support Drive to End Hunger, a national effort by AARP and the AARP Foundation to help the nearly nine million older Americans who face the threat of hunger.

A $20 donation from each Keselowski ticket is made to the driver’s Checkered Flag Foundation, which supports individuals who have sacrificed greatly for America, including military members, veterans, first-responders and their families, among others.

Fans who have already purchased tickets to the IRWIN Tools Night Race may upgrade to any Q&A package for an additional $25. For purchases or upgrades call BMS ticket office at 423-BRISTOL or 1-866-415-4158.

The August race week at BMS kicks off Aug. 22 with a doubleheader, which features the Volunteer 200 Camping World Truck Series race and the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 Whelen Modified event. On tap Aug. 24 is the Food City 250 Nationwide Series race, followed by the IRWIN Tools Night Race Sprint Cup event Aug. 25.
