LONG POND, Penn. (June 4, 2012) – – This week JTG Daugherty Racing and three-time Pocono Raceway winner Bobby Labonte reveal the fiercely designed scheme of the No. 47 BUBBA burger® Toyota Camry for the first time at the newly repaved track in the Pocono 400.

“We’re proud to have BUBBA burger® on board,” Labonte said. “We’re grateful to have some of the best sponsors in the sport supporting our efforts. This summer one of our biggest messages for our fans is to enjoy time with family and friends and get out and grill whether it’s at home or at a sporting event.”

In January, BUBBA burger® announced a two-race primary sponsorship with JTG Daugherty Racing during the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Pocono this week and also during the Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill. on September 16.

Additionally, BUBBA burger® has had presence on Labonte’s machine as an associate sponsor throughout the season at select events tying into the team’s retail theme ‘Racing Season is Grilling Season’ along with Kingsford Charcoal, BUSH’S Beans and SCOTT Products.

“NASCAR fans are very brand loyal and being part of NASCAR helps introduce our new product lines,” according to Billy Morris President/CEO of BUBBA foods. “Our JTG Daugherty Racing relationship allows us to partner with national brands that work well with our high quality BUBBA products. Our long-standing relationship with co-owner Tad Geschickter and his racing organization brought us back to the team to promote our brand. We’re looking forward to being a primary supporter at both Pocono and Chicagoland.”

BUBBA burger® driver Labonte has enjoyed the fruits of his labor at Pocono recording three wins, five top-five and nine top-10 finishes in 27 starts. Before the typical practice sessions take place on Friday, there is a two-day NASCAR test session at the tricky 2.5-mile tri-oval. The first Cup race on the new track surface will follow on Sunday and the second Pocono race will be Aug. 5. Both races have been reduced from 500 miles to 400 miles.

“NASCAR has a test session scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday,” Labonte said. “Goodyear had a test session not too long ago and a few drivers tested then. I haven’t been on the new track surface, but I’ve heard it’s really smooth, fast and the grip level is better. We’re looking forward to racing the No. 47 BUBBA® burger Toyota on Sunday.”

The BUBBA burger® is sold nationwide throughout the United States as well as world-wide through the U.S. Military Commissary system. BUBBA burger® is a natural choice for quality and convenience, using only top choice meat to produce our uniquely shaped, gluten free BUBBA burgers. Take them right from your freezer to your grill, BUBBA burgers come in many varieties to fit your taste. Race to your favorite local grocers freezer and grab some BUBBA burgers so that you are sure to receive the Checkered Flag from your family and friends.
