DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Houston, TX-native and Latin crossover singer-songwriter Paty Cantú will sing the National Anthem for the 11th annual Subway Jalapeno 250 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Friday night, July 6 at Daytona International Speedway.
Cantú rose to fame as one of the founding members of the successful Mexican pop duo LU. In 2008, she began to pursue a solo career and released her debut album Me Quedo Sola in 2009 and No Eres Tú in 2010.
Cantú, who is a Subway Artista Fresco of the Year, is currently working on her third solo album that will be released in the fall of 2012.
The stars of NASCAR return to Daytona International Speedway on July 6-7.
