DODGE QUOTES: “I love flat race tracks and Loudon is about as flat as they come. That race is a lot about being smooth with the car – how you get on the brakes, how you let the car roll through the corners and how you pick the throttle up. We’re just a tick off in some areas. We’ve got three little things that we’re working on. This is a game of inches now. Our whole No. 12 program is just a tad from being where we were last year. We just need to step it up a bit, start building more top-fives and wins into our performance column and keep after it.” — Sam Hornish, Jr.

FROM THE CREW CHIEF “We went up to Milwaukee to test after Road America and had a really good test. Everybody has been dealt a curveball heading into Loudon because there is a new tire. We’ll do the best that we can with the notes that we have from Richmond where we had a good race and Iowa where we were really strong. Sam has had some time behind the wheel in the Cup Series at Loudon. He is always a threat on flat tracks.” — Chad Walter, Crew Chief, No. 12 Alliance Truck Parts Dodge Challenger
