RAM QUOTES “We’re going to a new Pocono because it’s repaved and it’s completely different. Turn 3 is your slowest corner and that’s where you gain or lose the most time. Pocono is a unique situation in that the pass may not happen until Turn 1 but you started it the lap prior in Turn 2. With the three unique corners and having different strengths and weaknesses, you’re really just trying to set yourself up best for a run down the front straightaway and into Turn 1. Turn 1 is probably the biggest amount of braking that we have. Therefore, it gives you the opportunity to out-brake someone or out-drive them into Turn 1.” — Parker Kligerman

RAM IN THE CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES

• Bobby Hamilton (2004) and Ted Musgrave (2005) won the season championship driving a RAM.

• RAM has captured the manufacturer’s championship three times in the 17-year history of the series – 2001, 2003 and 2004.

• Tony Raines gave RAM its first win in the series in 1997, winning at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Mo.

• RAM won 15 of the 24 NCWTS races during the 2001 season, 13 of 25 in 2003 and 11 of 25 in 2004.

• There have been 427 races in the NCWTS beginning at Phoenix International Raceway on Feb. 2, 1995. There were three RAM drivers – Joe Bessey, Bob Keselowski and Walker Evans – in the 33-truck starting field. Bessey scored a fourth-place finish.

POCONO RACEWAY NUMBERS

• RAM has one top-10 finish in two previous NCWTS races at Pocono: Jason White (10th-place in 2010).

• Best start by a RAM driver at Pocono: fourth by Kligerman in 2010.

RAM TALK “The new repave is going to make a huge difference. There’s a ton more grip with the new pavement. It’s a really short race for us so you’ve got to have track position. Qualifying well and staying on pit road the least amount of time possible will be really important.” — Doug Randolph, Crew Chief, No. 29 Cooper Standard RAM
