Grammy Nominated Duo to Entertain the Crowd with Special Free Pre-Race Show on October 13
CONCORD, NC (September 18, 2012) — Charlotte Motor Speedway is set to get even louder when country rockers Big & Rich “crank it up to eleven” at the Bank of America 500 Pre-Race Show Presented by Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Saturday, October 13, as part of a thrilling week of speed, danger and fun.
Fans will have an opportunity to jam with the guitar-slinging, country-singing, multi-platinum selling duo, Big & Rich, as they get the speedway rocking with songs of the past and present, including those from their new album Hillbilly Jedi, set for release on September 18 on Warner Bros. Records.
The concert will take place on Saturday afternoon, October 13, on the main stage of Charlotte Motor Speedway’s frontstretch, just before the Bank of America 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Along with the rocking performance by Big & Rich, the Bank of America 500 Pre-Race Show Presented by Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will include a dangerous stunt by Guinness World Record holding daredevil and high-wire artist Nik Wallenda, who will walk the high-wire from high above the grandstands to Victory Lane, and a performance by Victoria Justice of Nickelodeon’s hit series Victorious and the feature film Fun Size, in theaters Oct. 26.
