Kenseth on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“I’ve always felt that throughout my whole career that Martinsville has always been one of my weakest links that I’m just not very good there. It’s been a place that has been difficult for me to tell the guys exactly what I need from the car in order to run well there. Our performance has been a lot better there lately for the past three or four times we’ve raced pretty competitively, so I’m hoping to go there this weekend and get another decent run for our team and be able to keep improving upon our finishes at Martinsville.”
Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“We are testing at Little Rockingham this week to look at some different geometry on the front end of the car as we prepare for Martinsville. We’re trying to get our cars a little bit better there because we’ve been able to run in the top ten at Martinsville, but we just need to get our cars rolling through the middle of the turns better. Matt always races well there, but we just need to make sure that we give him everything in the car so that he has the best set-ups in the car to earn the finishes we deserve.”
