Phoenix Recap: The Bass Pro Shops team started 18th on the one-mile tri-oval race track and would immediately battle with the balance of the No. 1 Chevrolet. The crew worked hard to improve the drivability of the Bass Pro Shops car, but the long, green flag runs during the middle of the race didn’t allow adequate time for major adjustments. In the closing laps, McMurray dodged multiple incidents of on-track melee and brought the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops/Allstate Chevrolet to the checkered flag for a 23rd-place finish.
Going to Bass Pro: Be sure to stop by the Miami Bass Pro Shops store before you head to the race track this weekend. Designed with a sunken motif, the Miami location features a 19,000 gallon super aquarium packed to the gills with native salt water species. Bass Pro Shops is located at 11551 Northwest 12th Street Miami, FL 33172

The tournament is a fundraiser for the Darrell Gwynn Foundation to support their mission to provide for people with paralysis and prevent spinal cord injuries. The foundation’s primary support program is its national Wheelchair Donation Program. With this program the Darrell Gwynn Foundation has donated custom built wheelchairs to hundreds of individuals in need.
