(March 13, 2013) – Auto Club Speedway announced today that Verve recording artists ‘The Tenors,’ will perform the National Anthem prior to the start of the Auto Club 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, March 24. The race will be broadcast at Noon (PT) on FOX.
The multi-platinum-selling vocal group has performed their blend of classical and contemporary pop for audiences around the world. The group’s latest CD “Lead With Your Heart” was released via a U.S. deal with multi-Grammy® Award-winning producer David Foster, Chairman of Verve Music Group reaching #1 on Billboard’s Crossover chart.
In their short career, the Tenors (Remigio Pereira, Clifton Murray, Victor Micallef and Fraser Walters) have performed on The Oprah Winfrey Show (with Celine Dion), for Her Majesty The Queen during her Diamond Jubilee at Windsor Castle, the live broadcast of the 2011 Emmy® Awards in Los Angeles, at the opening ceremonies of Vancouver’s 2010 Olympics and for the NBA, MLB, and NHL All-Star Games.
