Three-Time Champion Tony Stewart To Appear In Martinsville Fan Zone

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (March 13, 2013) – Three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart will appear in the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone the morning of the STP® Gas Booster™ 500  at Martinsville Speedway.

Stewart, the 2002, 2005 and 2011 Sprint Cup champion, has three Martinsville Speedway victories. He last won here in the fall of 2011, a victory that helped him capture the Sprint Cup title that year.

“Tony’s a great fit for our fan zone. He loves Martinsville Speedway, he loves short-track racing,” said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. “I think the fans will be in for a treat in his question-and-answer session.”

Stewart will participate in an emceed question and answer session.

Tickets for the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone are $99 and include:

·         Hot buffet featuring breakfast and lunch items

·         Four beverage coupons for Pepsi products and wine and beer (patrons 21 and older)

·         Pre-race Track Pass from 9:15 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.

The $99 price does not include a ticket to the STP® Gas Booster™ 500

The Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone will open at 8 a.m. on April 7 and close at 1 p.m.
