ZLOOP to Accept Electronics for Recycling During Kentucky Speedway Race Weekend Sept. 20-21

Guests can recycle small consumer electronics such as mobile phones,
PDAs, laptops and keyboards in exchange for Friday ticket

Sparta, KY (September 17, 2013) — ZLOOP Computer Electronics and Recycling Centers (CERC) will introduce its services to Kentucky Speedway guests by accepting small electronics for recycling during the venue’s doubleheader race weekend made up of the Sept. 20 ARCA Racing Series (ARS) ZLOOP 150 and Sept. 21 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) 300-mile race.

ZLOOP CERC will accept cell phones, smart phones, PDA’s, laptops, tablets, printers, plotters, tabletop copy and fax machines, keyboards, mice, SCSI/USB/DVI video cables, wires and cords, switches, hubs, routers, tape drives, hard drives, two-way radios, radio scanners, cb radios, non-biohazard testing equipment, scanning and bar coding equipment as well as UPS, US Postal Service and FedEx equipment.

Ink and laser toner cartridges, televisions, computer monitors and medical equipment WILL NOT be accepted.

ZLOOP CERC will collect items at its display near speedway Gate 15 both days. The initiative advances the company’s mission of alerting consumers that eWaste is serious waste and can be properly recycled through its recycling centers and authorized drop-off locations. Fans can receive a free grandstand ticket to Friday’s ZLOOP 150 or a ZLOOP Racing T-shirt as a thank you for each recycled item, while supplies last. Visit the ZLOOP display located within the FAN ZONE area at Kentucky Speedway to participate.

ZLOOP’s Kentucky Speedway program complements its NASCAR and ARS platform rooted in driver Justin Boston’s No. 25 ZLOOP ARS team fielded by Venturini Motorsports. Boston began this week third in the series standings after collecting seven top-five and 14 top-10 finishes through 19 starts this season.
