(Daytona Beach, FL – February 17, 2014) Grant Enfinger’s dreams came true Saturday night when he drove the No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite – Advance Auto Parts Ford into victory lane at Daytona International Speedway with Team BCR Racing.
“This means so much not only to me but to everyone on this team,” says Fairhope, AL’s Grant Enfinger. “It’s a great accomplishment for me in my career to win at Daytona and for Team BCR. There’s only four of us that work on both Justin Allison’s and my car during the week, so to see all of our hard work paid off, means a lot.”
Enfinger qualified for the race in the second position and fought between the No. 4 car for the lead a majority of the race. The No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite – Advance Auto Parts Ford Fusion came in for one pit stop throughout the Lucas Oil 200 for fuel only and led a total of 42 laps (more than any other driver).
Enfinger also mentioned, “I really feel strong about this team. Howard and the crew has given me the best cars I’ve ever had and everybody’s really worked hard. We’re on very limited resources – a small shop that Howard and Paula Bixman own in Mooresville. But, man, we’re like the little engine that could. We got a lot of heart. Howard works endless hours and has worked so hard to build this team from ground up and now we are Champions at Daytona.”
Howard Bixman, Team BCR Manager is thrilled about the outcome at Daytona. Bixman commented, “This is special for all of us. I’m very proud of our drivers Grant and Justin, and this team for the dedication and commitment. We’ve all worked hard not only on the cars for both teams but to make sure we could make it to the track this season. With that being said, I would like to thank Motor Honey, Casite, Advance Auto Parts, Stanley Industries and Wurth for stepping up and being a part of another victory lane finish. We couldn’t be more excited to make our partners proud.”
President of The Casite Company, John Antakli, watched Grant drive his way into victory lane from home. He said, “We’re so proud to once again be associated with Team BCR, Howard Bixman and Grant Enfinger this season. This is our third time watching this team take home a win since we’ve started our partnership. We look forward to seeing what the rest of the season holds!”
The next race on the driver’s schedule is at Mobile International Speedway on March 22. The particular track is special for the driver considering it’s his home track and where he captured his first career ARCA win. Enfinger looks forward to defending this win next month.
