MB Motorsports Returns For Jennings’ Daytona Debut; Continues Support Of Eagle Rock Camp
MB Motorsports, one of the original NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ teams, is set to return to Daytona International Speedway with Justin Jennings behind the wheel of the #63 Mittler Brothers Machine and Tool Chevy Silverado. Jennings will be looking to make his first series start at Daytona.
“I’ve been working my way up,” says the 21 year old Jennings. “We started in Iowa, moved up to the mile and a half intermediate tracks and now we’re at Daytona. It’s very cool, yet hard to believe at the same time. I think everyone who’s ever wanted to race has dreamed of racing at Daytona and now I’m here with Mike Mittler and the MB Motorsports crew.”
“It’s been great watching Justin progress,” beams team owner Mike Mittler. “This kid is so talented. He can build race cars. He can drive race cars. And whether he’s working on the truck or racing it, he’s totally committed and focused. No matter what he encounters, he stays calm, cool and collected. He’s an impressive young man.”
MB Motorsports will once again be supporting Eagle Rock Camp, a faith-based, holistic sports camp that reconnects military families in a traditional camp environment that is therapeutic, builds a healthy spirit and strong family bonds. “Chief Camper” Lynn Miller is excited about working with the team again. “We appreciate MB Motorsports so much! They helped raise awareness for our camp last season and to continue to do so is just wonderful. Everyone involved with the team truly supports our military families. 2014 is shaping up to be an amazing year. We will have announcements later on this summer about a second location. In 2013, we saw miracles happen daily, as families came together and reconnected. It is our honor and privilege to work with our military families. While at camp, they worked hard, played hard and their family lived were enhanced.”
Notes Mittler, “Lynn and Eagle Rock Camp do great work and we’re happy to do what we can to help those who sacrifice so the rest of us can enjoy our freedom and way of life. For what the guests at the camp have been through, this is the least we can do to let them know we appreciate them and all that they do.”

EAGLE ROCK CAMP
A faith-based, holistic sports camp where military families learn to re-connect and re-integrate. Their secluded setting, free of the distractions of daily life, allows warriors with both invisible and physical wounds to re-learn old and learn new sports skills.
The entire family learns life skills that provide positive, life changing experiences so they can recharge their energy and spirits, while learning to live life better and enhance family relationships.
New statistics, just released by the Department of Defense show that since 9/11 our military has deployed over 2.2 million troops, of which 320,000 are estimated to have traumatic brain injuries and 400,000 are estimated to have PTSD. Our veterans are committing suicide at an alarming rate of 22 EVERY DAY!

MIKE MITTLER’S THOUGHTS ON THE NEXTERA ENERGY RESOURCES 250 AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SUPERSPEEDWAY: “I always say, you never know what you’re getting into when you race at a superspeedway, other than the odds are going to be stacked against you even more than they normally are. It doesn’t matter if you are in the lead pack or at the back of the pack, you can get caught up in a big wreck. And since no one knows when the big one is going to happen, the importance of every pit call is even greater, which puts more pressure on the driver and crew chief to not only make the right changes, but also when to make them. In the end, all you can do is put forth your best effort, race as smart as you can and accept the fact that some days it’s better to be lucky than good. We had a great test session at the track last month, so I’m expecting good things for Justin and the MB crew.
MIKE MITTLER’S THOUGHTS ON JUSTIN JENNINGS: “This kid is the real deal. Doesn’t matter what happens on the track, he stays calm, cool and collected. I’m very proud of Justin. He does a great job not only driving the truck, but building it, too. There’s not many drivers that can build their own race car and this kid can.”
JUSTIN JENNINGS’ THOUGHTS ON THE NEXTERA ENERGY RESOURCES 250 AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SUPERSPEEDWAY: “We had good test session down here and that gave me a chance to get used to the track before coming back for the race. This year, with the new truck bodies, I think everybody is a little more equal as far as aero is concerned. In the end, I think it’s going to come down to the draft- how well your truck handles in the draft and who you can draft with. And, of course, avoiding the big wreck or wrecks when they happen.”
