BRISTOL LIVE EXPANDS REACH FOR MARCH RACE WEEKEND

BRISTOL, Tenn. (Monday, March 10, 2014) – Building upon the success of its August debut, Bristol LIVE expands its reach for the March 2014 event, adding two FM and two AM signals to its existing scanner frequency.

“We began this initiative in August as a way to better serve our guests through what we believe to be the only full-service radio format in our industry dedicated to all things race related,” said Bristol Motor Speedway General Manager Jerry Caldwell. “Broadening the show’s reach for March provides our guests an even greater opportunity to stay informed of all that’s available to them during the event.”

Produced and managed by Tri-Cities radio personality Tom Taylor, Bristol LIVE provides event and on-track information, weather updates, interviews, music and answers to questions posted on BMS social media channels.

“In this region, we know how important the races at Bristol Motor Speedway are to our economy and to showcase this fantastic area we live to folks all over the world,” said Taylor. “So when given the opportunity to host Bristol LIVE and promote the greatest track to the greatest fans – Bristol fans – it’s an honor. I’m fired up – It’s Bristol Baby!”

Throughout the March 14-16 Food City 500 weekend, the show airs on 103.3 FM, 100.7 FM, 1230 AM, 870 AM and scanner frequency 454.000 at the following times: Thursday Noon-5 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Additionally, the show can be streamed via the free Bristol Motor Speedway mobile app.

Tickets still remain for the March 14-16 race weekend, but prices increase Sunday, March 9, so act now to purchase Food City 500 tickets as low as $65 or weekend packages for as little as $89.
