KANSAS CITY, Kan. (May 8, 2014) – After ‘cleaning up’ the infield at Talladega Superspeedway last weekend, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Zest will once again ‘clean up’ the media at Kansas Speedway by giving each media member an authentic No. 17 car shaped Zest soap bar. Members of the media will get a one of a kind bar of soap and can work throughout the weekend with the peace of mind that comes only from being “Zestfully Clean”.
“Cleaning up the media center was such a huge hit last year,” said Stenhouse. “We thought we would bring back some more Zest car bars since the factory is right down the road from the track. With this being a night race, the media will need that extra perk that comes from being ‘Zestfully Clean’ all day.”
The factory where the Zest soap is produced is approximately 11 miles from Kansas Speedway and Stenhouse will swing by on Thursday, where he plans on picking up his special gift for the media on hand this weekend in Kansas.
Stenhouse led a career-high 26 laps last spring at Kansas en route to an 11th-place finish. This will mark his third career Sprint Cup start at the 1.5-mile oval, where he has an 2.5 average starting position. In addition, the two-time NASCAR Champion posted a victory in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Kansas in the fall of 2012.
