Country Artist Chase Rice, Drivers Tony Stewart, Danica Patrick, Elliott Sadler and Bubba Wallace to Headline Coca-Cola Family Track Walk

CONCORD, N.C. (May 19, 2014) – Fans with tickets to the Coca-Cola 600 can enjoy an extra dose of family fun and fitness with the Coca-Cola Family Track Walk on Friday, May 23 at 2:30 p.m. The event will be headlined by up-and-coming country music star Chase Rice, currently touring with Dierks Bentley, who will perform hits like his current single “Ready Set Roll.” Performing at Charlotte Motor Speedway is a homecoming of sorts for Rice, who is a native of Asheville, N.C., and was a starting linebacker at the University of North Carolina. After college, Rice worked in the NASCAR industry on the pit crews of Ryan Newman and Jimmie Johnson.

Fans who come out to walk the 1.5-mile superspeedway and enjoy the concert, will also have the chance to see Coca-Cola Racing Family drivers Tony Stewart, Danica Patrick, Elliott Sadler and Darrell “Bubba” Wallace, Jr., who will all be participating in a question-and-answer session with the fans at the walk.

In addition to great interaction with the stars of the sport, fans can enjoy refreshing Coca-Cola products at hydration stations around the track.

Coca-Cola 600 ticketholders will be admitted for free to the Coca-Cola Family Track Walk and concert by showing their race ticket. Those who would like to participate, but do not hold a ticket to the Coca-Cola 600, can donate $20 to Speedway Children’s Charities for admittance.

Following the Coca-Cola Family Track Walk, fans can head to The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

With packages starting at just $99, fans can experience all the action and excitement that surrounds Coca-Cola 600 weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the Coca-Cola 600 Weekend Pass. The package includes tickets to see the stars of NASCAR hit the track to lay down the fastest lap during LiftMaster Pole Night on Thursday, May 22; a Saturday afternoon showdown as the NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers battle it out in the HISTORY 300 on May 24; and culminating with the historic 55th running of one of NASCAR’s most prestigious events, the Cola-Cola 600 on Sunday, May 25.
