CASSILL SEEKS TO SUSTAIN MOMENTUM

SPARTA, Ky. – Over the past four races, Landon Cassill has scored three top-15 finishes and one top 10 and has moved from 12th in Nationwide Series points to 10th.

Cassill hopes to continue that momentum Friday night in the John R. Elliott Hero Campaign 300 at Kentucky Speedway. The race will be the 15th of the 33-race Nationwide Series season.

Cassill will race Friday night with sponsorship from the Kentucky Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over campaign, which also is helping sponsor the race. The campaign is aimed at removing under-the-influence drivers from Kentucky highways.
Over the past three weeks, Cassill has been 14th at Dover, 14th at Michigan and eighth at Road America. The road-course finish last week matched his best run of the season.

Practice is scheduled at Kentucky from 6:30 to 7:25 p.m. Thursday, with another practice round to follow at 9 a.m. Friday. Qualifying is set for 3:40 p.m. Friday, followed by the race at 7:30.
