(Mooresville, NC – July 4, 2014) After winning three of the four short track races this season, Team BCR’s Grant Enfinger expects nothing less than a win at Winchester Speedway.
Enfinger will make his second start at the half-mile oval since making his Winchester debut in 2011, driving behind the No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite – Triple K Construction Ford Fusion.
“This will be a very good place for us since we’ve been strong at every short track this season,” says Fairhope, AL native driver, Grant Enfinger. “This track is very similar to Salem, where we ran really well and picked up another win. It’s high banked like Salem, but it’s just a lot smoother. We’ll be using the same car and the same set up so I’m confident we’ll be in contention for another win.”
Team BCR has a proven winning short track program in place for the 2014 ARCA Racing Series season. Enfinger won ARCA races at Mobile, Salem and most recently at Elko Speedway. The No. 90 Ford also led 67 laps at Toledo Speedway but had a flat tire late in the race, leaving the team to finish just outside the top-10.
Enfinger mentioned, “Short track racing is what I grew up on and I adapt well with any of the short tracks we’ve been going to. Howard (Bixman) and Team BCR have been making my job easy this year giving me a car to win with at every track. I also have to thank everyone that has made this possible Motor Honey, Casite, Triple K Construction, Wurth, Stanley Industries, Franklin Fastener and Ford Racing.”
Grant Enfinger will go into Winchester Speedway as the 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards current points leader for the championship, just 35 points ahead of Mason Mitchell.
Meet Grant Enfinger at Winchester Speedway during an on-track autograph session from 12-1pm.
