Ragan and Farm Rich Partner in Their Home State

Fans Can Meet Driver of No. 34 Ford at Four Kroger Events

STATESVILLE, AUGUST 26, 2014 – David Ragan, driver of the No. 34 Farm Rich Ford, comments on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:

“Atlanta is always a busy week for us. I enjoy going back home and seeing the family. And Farm Rich is going to be back on the car, in their and my home state of Georgia, and they’re really activating their sponsorship with local Kroger stores. So, I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of fans in that area, fans who maybe saw me race on the quarter-mile 10, 15 years ago.”Farm Rich is a great story as a new partner coming into the sport. They have a business relationship with our owner, Bob Jenkins, and his freight trucking company, and their first race was at Talladega last year when we won. That was obviously a great entry into the sport and not something you see every week. But as a well-known name that you see in your grocer’s freezer every week, it’s fun to have them as a partner. And it’s great to see when fans of the sport buy those products to support the team and support the sponsor. I know I’ve got some great stuff in my freezer thanks to Farm Rich.”

JUST THE FACTS: Ragan has 11 Sprint Cup starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway … His best finish is eighth (2008) at the 1.5-mile oval … Farm Rich returns as primary sponsor and Georgia Peanut Commission as associate sponsor at Atlanta  … Farm Rich will host Ragan for autograph appearances at four Kroger stores this week:
