ADVANCE NOTES

·         Buescher at Charlotte Motor Speedway

o   Chris Buescher will make his third NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Charlotte Motor Speedway this Friday.  In his previous two starts, Buescher’s best finish is ninth, which came earlier this season.

·         The Car

o   The No. 60 team unloads Chassis RK-821 for the second time this season.  This chassis most recently raced just a few weeks ago at Kentucky Speedway, finishing seventh.

·         On the Car

o   RFRShop.com appears on the No. 60 Mustang this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Roush Fenway Racing fans are encouraged to visit the website for all of their apparel and collectibles.

·         Recapping Kansas Speedway

o   Buescher and the No. 60 Roush Performance Parts team had a very strong Mustang in last Saturday’s NNS race at Kansas Speedway.  Buescher qualified third for the 200-Lap, 300-Mile race.  The rookie of the year contender grabbed the lead early, leading a total of 20 laps.  Unfortunately, contact with the spinning car of Kyle Larson took the No. 60 out of contention, leaving the team with a 28th-place finish.

QUOTE WORTHY

Buescher on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway:

“I am excited to get to race at home this weekend.  Our team has made major improvements in the last few weeks, and I think we will have a fast Mustang again this weekend.  I have several races at Charlotte under my belt, and I have learned a lot that I can apply towards this weekend.”
