Clint Bowyer No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota Homestead-Miami Preview

Season Finale

CORNELIUS, N.C. —  After nearly 11 months, 12,626 miles, 9,567 laps and 35 races, Clint Bowyer and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series conclude the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Clint Bowyer has three top-fives and five top-10s in eight races at the 1.5-mile oval. The Michael Waltrip Racing driver would like nothing more than to bring his  No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota home covered in confetti. A fitting end to the sport’s season finale.

Is Homestead a race track you enjoy?

“Homestead is a fun race track and I always run pretty good there. We’ve definitely run good as a team there and I’m really looking forward to going back there.  I always love tracks that you can move around and find a different line around or a different line around traffic. For a mile-and-a-half race track I think it’s one of the best ones we go to.”

Do you think this race for the championship is going to be exciting this weekend?

“Exciting? Well heck yes. You better make sure you’re watching because it’s going to be a good one. Pretty cool that no matter who it is, there’s going to be a first time winner. Good luck to fellow Toyota driver Denny Hamlin.  I know how much winning a championship would mean to everyone at Toyota. We are already working hard to make sure this 5-hour ENERGY team is a part of all this excitement next year.”
