Ford Performance: Greg Biffle Impressions On New Rules Package

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 Ortho Ford Fusion, gave his impression on the new rules package for 2015 between sessions of today’s test at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

GREG BIFFLE – No. 16 Ortho Ford Fusion – “My Ortho Ford Fusion drove pretty good and had a lot of grip.  I felt like I needed a little bit more front turn, but as the session went it seemed like we didn’t really slow down and everybody else did, which was a good thing.  We’re hoping we can get a little more speed right out of the gate for this next session and then hold consistent.  My car didn’t feel hugely different.  I could tell it’s got less power, but it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is a whole different car.’”

ANY DIFFERENT HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS WITH A SMALLER SPOILER?  “No.  It felt pretty normal, so it’s not a huge change, which is good for the sport and good for what we’ve got coming up.”
