ADVANCE NOTES
Buescher at Texas Motor Speedway
Chris Buescher makes his fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday. In his previous three starts, Buescher’s best finish is 13th, which came last fall.
This is the same chassis that the No. 60 team raced earlier this season at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where Buescher ran solidly inside the top-five, finishing fourth.
In addition, Buescher will pilot the No. 34 Ford Fusion for Front Row Motorsports in Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race. It marks Buescher’s third NSCS start and his first at Texas Motor Speedway.
On the Car
The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Safety-Kleen colors this weekend in Texas.
Safety-Kleen is a leading provider of environmental services to commercial, industrial and automotive customers. Safety-Kleen is the largest re-refiner of used oil and provider of parts cleaning services in North America. Its broad selection of environmentally responsible products and services ensure the proper collection, processing, re-refining, recycling and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Hometown Hero
Buescher, a native of Texas, returns to his home state for two races under the lights at the 1.5-mile track. The sophomore driver in the NASCAR XFINITY Series hails from Prosper, which is located a little under one hour away from the track.
Recapping Fontana
Buescher earned his third top-five finish of the season after a strong performance at Auto Club Speedway propelled the No. 60 Fastenal Ford Mustang to a fifth-place finish. Buescher has not finished outside of the top-15 so far this season.

Chris Buescher on racing at Texas Motor Speedway
“I always look forward to going back racing in front of the home crowd. It has been a nice off weekend to sit and regroup, but our Safety-Kleen 60 team is ready to get back to the track. We had a solid top-five run in Fontana to build off of.”
