ADVANCE NOTES

Buescher at Bristol Motor Speedway

Chris Buescher makes his fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday.  In his previous three starts, Buescher has two top-10s, one of which was a seventh-place result in his third-ever NASCAR XFINITY Series start in 2013.  He also finished 10th the last time the series visited the half-mile track.  In his three starts, Buescher has completed all but two laps.

Buescher has completed all but one lap so far this season, with 90 percent of his laps completed running inside the top-15.  Buescher ranks second only to his Roush Fenway Racing teammate Bubba Wallace in the number of quality passes this season, with 332.

In addition, Buescher will pilot the No. 34 Ford Fusion for Front Row Motorsports in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race.  It marks Buescher’s fourth NSCS start and his first at Bristol Motor Speedway.

On the Car

The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Roush Performance colors this weekend in Bristol.

Roush Performance Parts is a premier supplier and engineering services provider, most known for its line of high performance Mustang powertrain parts, including superchargers, cold air intakes and exhaust kits.  The list goes on to include a full line of wheels, tires, interior, grilles, graphics, service parts, accessories, drivetrain, cooling upgrades and more.  In addition to Mustang, Roush Performance Parts also offers performance upgrade packages for Ford F-150, Superduty and Focus.

Recapping Texas

Early contact with the wall in Friday night’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Texas Motor Speedway did not slow down Buescher and the No. 60 Safety-Kleen team.  Team and driver battled hard all race long to come home in ninth.  Buescher has not finished outside of the top-15 so far in the 2015 season.

QUOTE WORTHY

Chris Buescher on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway

“I am always excited to head out to Bristol.  I love short track racing and this is one of the best short tracks in the country.  We have been making gains on our Mustangs every week, and I feel we are ready to get that first win of 2015.”
