SETTING THE SOCIAL SCENE

@BrennanPoole on NASCAR’S Green Week – Proud to be part of the @DCSolar #Green team! Let’s bring off-grid #solar to @NASCAR and #NASCARGreen.

POOLE CONTINUES TO MAKE A SPLASH HEADING TO RICHMOND

Brennan Poole returns for the third of five consecutive races in the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro this weekend at Richmond International Raceway (RIR). In four XFINITY Series starts in 2015, Poole has one top-10 and three top-15 finishes with an average start of 19.0 and average finish of 14.8. This will be Poole’s debut at the 0.75-mile oval this weekend.

DC SOLAR AND #NASCARGreen

As the NASCAR industry embarks on the “Race to Green” initiative this week, HSMCG partner DC Solar will be at the forefront of the initiative. DC Solar is a green energy company that specializes in mobile solar equipment, including generators, light towers, electric vehicle charging stations and telecommunications. Their vision is a greener planet, and to that end DC Solar strives to help environmentally conscious consumers and businesses reduce their carbon footprint by providing noise- and emissions-free solutions for their off-grid needs.

MEET AND RIDE WITH BRENNAN

On Friday, April 24 from 12:45 – 1:00 p.m. EDT, Poole will participate in a Q&A and sign autographs for fans at the Team Chevy Display in the midway at RIR. He will once again carry the DC Solar on-board camera for Friday’s 250-lap race. Tune into FOX Sports 1 for all the action under the lights.

A LOOK BACK ON BRISTOL

Poole started his fourth XFINITY Series race of 2015 in the 17th position. He was the beneficiary of a free pass back on to the lead lap early in the race. His team opted to gain track position and stay out under a cycle of caution-flag pit stops. This allowed Poole to start ahead of many of the slower cars. On the final restart, Poole muscled his way into the top 10. He was overtaken by a car late in the race and settled in to finish 11th. This marked Poole’s third top-15 finish in four XFINITY Series starts.

BRENNAN POOLE ON RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

“I’m looking forward to racing in Richmond. It’s a night race and always puts on a great show for the fans. We are coming off another top-15 finish this past weekend in Bristol, so I hope to carry that momentum into this weekend. We’ve been making gains every week as a team and I am making gains every week as a driver.”

CREW CHIEF MIKE SHIPLETT ON RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

“Richmond is a very challenging track for both team and driver. Brennan is continuing to learn more each race, and he’s done really well on short tracks during his career, so we hope to continue that trend in Richmond. As long as we keep plugging away and continue our consistency, we should have a great weekend.”
