This Week’s No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:  J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 235 in the Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This will be the third time Yeley has raced this chassis this year.  Yeley last raced this chassis back in May at Iowa Speedway where he was collected in an accident.  The JGL Racing team has made the necessary repairs and its ready for its return to action.

Yeley at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:

J.J. will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to go along with five previous starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Yeley also has one start in the legendary Indianapolis 500 at the 2.5-mile track.  He finished ninth in the 1998 running of the “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing”.

Last year, Yeley and his No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota finished 24th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

J.J.’s Thoughts on Indianapolis:

“Indianapolis is special to me for many reasons.  I grew up coming to Indiana to watch my dad race and then raced a lot across the state myself.   Of course I was able to race in the Indianapolis 500 and that was an incredible experience. ”

“We go to Indy this weekend with some unknowns with this new package NASCAR is implementing.  Combine that with the fact that Indianapolis is one of the most prestigious races all year and you have an exciting weekend.”

“We are coming off a solid performance last week at New Hampshire and we will really have our work cut out for us this week in Indianapolis.  This JGL Racing team has done a tremendous job and I am confident in how we will handle these changes this weekend.”
