CASSILL READY FOR CHICAGOLAND

JOLIET, Ill. – Landon Cassill will race for the 12th time at Chicagoland Speedway in Saturday night’s Furious 7 300 Xfinity Series race.

Cassill will drive the Gerber Collision & Glass 01 Chevrolet in Saturday’s race.

Cassill has raced in five Sprint Cup and six Xfinity races at Chicagoland. He has a top finish of 10th in the Xfinity race in 2008.

“Chicagoland is a great track and one that I’ve always liked,” Cassill said. “We’ve run well there over the years. I’m looking forward to having a good run in the Gerber Collision & Glass Chevy this week.”

Cassill finished 18th at Richmond last week and now is 18th in Xfinity driver points.

Practice is scheduled at 2 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 2:45 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 6 p.m.
